Bowden's Own Wet Dream Pack $29 (Was $44.99) @ Repco

150

Decent deal for Bowden's Own Wet Dreams and a Big Softie for $29. Effectively making it a 35% for the value pack, and Bowden's rarely have 35% off, mostly 30%.

Separate prices:
Bowden's Own Wet Dream - $34.99
Bowden's Own Big Softie - $13.99

You need a good microfiber towel to apply this anyway and the Big Softie is a great 350GSM towel. I've got 3 of these towels (1 from this pack) and they are great for buffing out sealant, compound and polishes.

This was the video that convinced me to get this over well known sealants like Carpro Hydro2 and Gyeon Wet Coat:

I used to struggle with my smalls arms holding my gun normally. Now it feels so natural spraying my car or my mates with my thick foam.
        Excellent product!

After performing many snow jobs over the years I thought my performance was getting worse. But after strapping this on, I feel like a man again. Thanks Dan!

The microfibre cloth itself worth $13 already on both set

  • Hi , just wanted to check if these microfibres clothes are better than Costco ones, which are a lot cheaper at the moment.
    Cheers

The Bowdens one has a much higher GSM than the Costco ones for sure. Having said that, the Costco ones are much better than your Bunnings/Aldi microfibres clothes and relatively safe for paint (some pro detailers will disagree). I use them for light work on the car only (i.e on clean car to remove water spots or wiping away polish). I always use the Bowdens cloth to spread sealant or drying with drying aid.

    • Household grade generic MFs generally sell for $1ea for scarf size, less for handy size. They're thin, more fuzzy than fluffy.

Costco Kirkland yellow pack is fantastic value, very good quality & thicker plush than other cheap general use MFs. Great size too.

Big Softie, Big Green Sucker, Drop Bear etc are specialised thickest plush MFs for polishing/drying/buffing… c'mon, they're 15-45X dearer :P
