With working from home everything has gone up price, any recommendations on cheapest power, gas and nbn
I'm VIC 3750, I'm with tango for power, origine for gas, SpinTel for nbn 50mb plan at $65. Any ideas would be great.

Energy prices are dynamic with every customer being charged a different amount.
A fake competition occurs where the "Energy Made Easy" style sites list prices from a special pool but these are different from offers directly from retailers. According to ACCC most customers do not understand what they are being offered due to being unable or incapable of doing the mathemetics required leaving them unable to compare offers directly from retailers.
If we are to believe that the "Energy Made Easy" style sites are lowering prices by providing competition then we must believe that prices would be even higher were they not operating - which is absurd. In 2016 Professor Rodney Sims claimed electricity privatisation had "severely damaged" the Australian economy. Read his 2018 Electricity Inquiry report for more about the economic disaster caused by privatisation.
EME website is also easily gamed, all retailers need to do is offer a special introductory price for a short period of time which, according to the EME calculation, makes them very cheap. However once the discount expires, your prices shoot up and if you aren' savvy enough to realise that you get stung big time. Meanwhile retailers who are trying to do right by customers and offer low rates without any confusing discounts that require spreadsheets to compare competitors get left out to dry.
The entire industry is rife with anti consumerist behaviour, not to mention outright illegal practices from the big guys who never seem to get punished for it.
