  • Just cancelled mine (ordered from Amazon us with arrival date of 10 sept) for this one. Delivery ETA is now 24-27th August, massive difference.

  • WiFi card is a bit dated with BT 4. But at this price, I guess you really cannot expect the latest Intel WiFi card.

Nice to see prices going down and they'll probably keep dropping, I'm waiting to see what A520 boards come out.

At this rate I'll have more B450 mobos than eneloops!

  • Curious to know what case/power supply people are using to keep the form factor small when building with the motherboards?

Wanted to build something on a budget last year but couldn't manage without paying excessive amounts for a small decent case and power supply. I am aware that typically you have to sacrifice price when building something that takes up minimum desk space.

    • I think Cooler Master NR200 is a decent ITX case with a relatively low RRP. If that’s still a bit expensive, then check Cougar QBX. Personally I think NR200 looks better and you could upgrade to the NR200P with glass panel and vertical graphics card mount.

PSU is depending on your hardware choices. But most modular SFX PSUs are pretty expensive. Keep an eye on Cooler Master, Seasonic, Silverstone .etc and you may find a 500-600W PSU for a bit over $100 when they are on sale.

      • For the same price as the NR200P I like the silverstone rvz03 which can take full size graphics cards and regular ATX power supplies under 14 or 15cm

        • Ahh, thank you. I thought you were OP at first :P

I forgot RVZ and Node 202. They do look good and easy to be put on a desktop. I did want to get an RVZ02 or Node 202 for my next build in last year, but now I am leaning towards NZXT H1.

The CPU cooler for RVZ03/Node 202 has to be a slim air cooler. It might be an issue for OP, but that’s depending on OP’s CPU choice and the thermal/noise requirements.

          • @jeremyOTZ: Thanks for the suggestion. NR200 seems affordable and Node 202 is a popular choice as I've seen a few builds with it on PCparts.

I bought a Node 202 from Fractal off eBay for a good price, it's serving me well. Brand new price isn't that expensive.

As for PSU you'll be looking for a SFX power supply, best choice for them at the moment has to be the SF series from Corsair.

      • I have the Node 202, it’s pretty good. Gives you that console look. For this build I was looking at the InWin A1 but still pretty pricey right now.

    • I'm running with a Lian li tu150 and a corsair sf450 gold.

      • Never seen that case before! Cheers.
