I was drawn to this deal, so I would say they are
So you bought it on the spur of the moment ?
No, I was magnetically drawn to it
Here's an unboxing video for a closer look
@AliG: I gauss that's a good deal then…
@AliG: You missed jv's joke. Magnetic moment
I've been meaning to ask for a while… why do you just bold random words?
Are these any good? Can someone tell me if I should buy this for me ma?
Is your ma is a power lifter? These are heavy
they are great, will last forever if maintained right/looked after, but very heavy compared to other cookware.
Probably not honestly, but it depends on the individual. My 'ma' hates my skillet because of the maintenance involved.
these are also good for other purposes that does not require any maintenance.. AKA smacking someone with them
Probably still rust out if not maintained, then one maintenance item would be a tetanus shot.
Depends on what you think she will do with it. Great for baking bread and has other uses as a skillet. But can't use it for any acidic foods such as tomatoes.
Item Weight 5.9 Kg
$64 last month. But decent price now.
The quality of these are great. I just wish they had a longer handle as you need wrists of steel to hold them with their stubby little handles.
The larger 5Qt dutch oven is also available for not much more at $89.65. Different handles though.

It was $40.6 before? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/423461. That was really good deal back to 2018. Now probably everything is increasing.
Any bread bakers out there who can give a recommendation on the 3.2qt combo cooker vs the 5qt Lodge (flat top L8DD3) dutch oven?
Thanks
I would go for this one, the 5qt's extra volume is in its height rather than the actual length/width, and for bread the 3.2qt has sufficient height already. The size of the actual bottom lengthwise is actually quite similar
handle also makes it easier to take it in and out of the oven
Thanks, appreciate it.
For those who only need the skillet, 10.25” is currently $26.68 - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B07413Z1SD/ref=ox_sc_act_i…
delivery fee is too expensive same as the pots? am I looking at right way?
Thanks OP! Have been hanging out for these to go on sale after reading up on them last week.
Also ordered the Lodge LDP3 Rectangular Cast Iron Reversible Grill/Griddle for $53.75.
Now to train the wife on not destroying them!
Are these magnetic ?
