  • Good if you want motors better than buying it individually

    • Are the motors strong enough to carry a beer from the fridge?

  • Plus delivery?

    • Thanks I noticed the purchased up to $99 free delivery has gone back to $149 now.

      • Buy two batmobiles and battle them against each other.

  • Lame set, great way to get the new Powered Up hub for motorising trains, Technic etc

  • Yeah agree decent for break down with the mini figure and motor worth like $60 .

  • If you’re only buying this set for the motors, wouldn’t it be better to get the Technic Stunt Racer for $99? (42095)

It doesn’t rely on a smartphone and it has larger motors, but it lacks regular bricks and that Batman minifigure.

    • it lacks … that Batman minifigure

I think you've answered your own question

    • Depends what you want it for. The Technic one uses the older power functions system, which will be less supported going forward.

This has Powered Up which lets you use servo motors, color sensors etc.

  • would these motors and battery box fit the Crocodile Locomotive?

    • Yes.

There’s a video in YouTube by jangbricks that has more details.

      • Thanks, I couldn't seem to find the video.

I noticed that these batmobile motors are different to what the locomotive use, possibly less power, will they still work?

        • I must be imagining things - it was in the “no gap” video and briefly had a view of the insides.

You can still fit the Powered Up motors (from the Batmobile) in the train, as they are almost have the same dimensions as the older Power Functions motors.

A better alternative (if you have the pieces) is to build a rolling stock car with the motor inside that instead. Looks cleaner with less hassle and blends in nicely with any locomotive paired with it.
