A-RAM high-performance memory is designed for advanced users wanting to maximize the performance of their systems. The DDR3-1333 4GB SO-DIMM's x configuration is by 128M x 8. DDR3 SDRAMs in FBGA (Fine-pitch BGA) packages on a 204-pin printed circuit board. This DDR3 SO-DIMM is designed to meet the 1333MHz data-rate specification of the JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council) standard. With 1.5V low-voltage application, DDR3 modules can consumpt 30% less power comparing with 1.8V (DDR2). So it is completely an environment-friendly product. Compare with DDR2, DDR3 modules are with higher data bandwidths and enhanced thermal performance. The special feature called On-Die Termination (ODT) is to minimize memory signal reflections at high speeds, thereby improving timing margins. Range of operation frequencies, programmable latencies allow the same device to be useful for a variety of high bandwidth, high performance memory system applications.

nothing special. feel free to prove me wrong
    I can get DDR3 G.Skil for $25 at msy

    • Could be dy4me. The cheapest I could see on staticice for "ddr3 4gb sodimm" was $23 + $16.95 (wtf?!) shipping.

I remember we snapped up the Kingston equivalent like piranha recently, so thought I'd post.

If it's 'meh' then 'meh' away ;)

I posted this a few nights ago and it got negged to death, lol. If you buy 2 it brings the total to $46 delivered, so $23 each which is a great price if you can't walk into an MSY nearby. People were negging because the techrific website says it's "Free Delivery" but they charge $8 insurance per delivery which is compulsory. I kept pointing out that the overall cost is pretty good so why keep negging. Someone said it insulted their intelligence that a webstore would try and "scam" them this way and I told them this is www.ozbargain.com.au, not www.ozintelligencereassurance.com.au

Always the computer deals getting pooh-poohed because it's cheaper at MSY - annoying as hell

Does MSY ship? I don't live anywhere near an MSY, and it's not like I'm in the boonies.

    • They wont even answer the phone so I doubt it, they are cheap but their customer service is non-existant, unless your ready to buy and know know exactly want you want to buy they dont want to know you. Also if its not in stock dont bother asking them to order it. I get sick of going there to only find out they dont have what I want in stock. They have become the benchmark for pricing because they are consistently cheap on "commodity items" like CPU's, RAM harddrives ect.. but they are not necessarily the cheapest. Netplus, Fluidtek, cworld are often cheaper. I only use them because they are 4 mins from my house in Varsity and Umart is a 30min Drive away
