  How good of a gaming mouse is it for the price? How does it stack up against the Sidewinder X5 or the G300?

    Apparently if you like the MX518 you'll like the shape of this mouse but the tracking is better. (Not what you asked I know)

  been using my mx518 for 6 years and still going. I think this successor is a good upgrade.

    Yeah +1 for the mx518 mine lasted about 4 years before the middle button stopped working, but i was a VERY heavy user, the mouse would be working 10 hours straight some days.

  Damn… should have got this. Already got a refurbished X5 for $25 delivered… amazing price. Just check eBay.

  It's a good deal for those who missed out on the $42 G500 mouse — but even at it's usual price of $49, I would highly recommend spending the extra $10 for the G500's laser sensor and adjustable weights.

  Looks like a decent deal but I just bought a Gigabyte GM-m6880 for $14 and very happy with it!

  I used a MX510 for about 4 years and it was punished with hours of gaming. The G400 looks great and reasonable price too. Thank you!
