Need a headset for gaming or that online meeting during covid? This is about as cheap as it gets for the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wired headset. Whilst the discounted one is the xBox version (PS4 one too but slightly more expensive), it is also compatible with other systems since it comes with a universal 3.5mm connector.

This is also not too problematic for newer laptops which comes with a single 3.5mm jack for mic and audio. For those who has a laptop or pc with dual connectors, you could get a headphone splitter for about 10 bucks.

In regards to the differences between the different versions, offical website notes the following:

The main difference is that the Arctis 1 for PC includes the dual 3.5mm cable needed for PC connectivity, whereas the Xbox and Playstation versions do not.

    The wireless model at $128 seems pretty decent as far as completely wireless gaming headsets go price wise, if you’re happy to connect the dongle to your console. Particularly given how much I paid for a USB-C transmitter on its own to use with my Switch.

      I like wired because I pair it with a Soundblaster X3 it’s really a night and day difference. But $128 is, nonetheless, is good deal for a wireless one. And its easy enough to just plug in the headphone jack on the switch, charging and playing with headphones at the same time :)

        It’ll be the deal the other poster just linked to. Maybe keep an eye on them. According to camelcamelcamel the price has been fluctuating a lot between 200+ and $128, so chances are they’ll drop again. They were $128 last night and on the weekend when I had a look.

      Surely a wired headphone would come with the connector. The detachable part is the mic which it comes with as well

      I believe @TilacVIP is asking because the OP said "..The discounted one is the xBox version ONLY but is compatible with other systems." - which is rather confusing to me… I don't have an answer unfortunately.
      EDIT: Amazon description says "Designed for Xbox and compatible with all gaming platforms including PS4 and Switch via the universal 3.5mm connector"
      Edit: I've had a look at the steelseries website and you can see that the product ends in a 3.5mm jack; but that the "PC version" would come with an extra part which converts the single 3.5mm into dual 3.5mm outputs. I don't believe this extra piece will come with the product linked in this bargain.
