            @ozvictor: According to a review on The Verge, they're making the base config 120hz instead of 60hz, so that might be the reason. I really wish this had the 144hz, can't deal with 250nits of the 120hz.

      The G7 has bigger display, better screen and GPU, G7 screen is 17 inch 300 nits 144hz while this model is 250 nits 120hz,
      G5 SE is more portable and has a better CPU, and cheaper

      I'd get the G7 if you can afford it. Slower CPU but faster GPU and much better screen.

          I have the Dell G5 SE with the 4800h and 144hz display, no issues with instability. Just made sure the BIOS, Radeon drivers from AMD, Dell Power manager and Alienware Control Centre were up to date. Have gamed and stress tested with 3d Mark Time Spy and did not crash.

              @harpie: The only problem is the ram is only ddr3 not ddr4 like the more expensive XPS 13s with only FHD screens. Depends if you really want a very bright 4k screen on a budget.
