    Couldn't see any mainstream movies as such on their website. Anyone living in GC have an idea if this actually does show the latest flicks

      The Gold Coast Arts Centre is only a couple of minutes from me. It's big and modern with easy parking. Yes, they do show latest movies. Aparently you can take a glass of wine or coffee into this Cinema, haven't tried myself.

      You don't get much selection here because the cinema is not overly big (might only be one screen - not sure). The Arts Centre hosts many other live shows, such as Scooby Doo Live in Concert.

      Genuine bargain for those who live close - thanks, I have purchased. Found the following link for memberships which seem to be what is on offer here at a discounted price and an extra free movie ticket.

    I used to go there all the time when I contracted for the council (just next door), they do have a mix of mainstream & indie movies. Bit far for me to go now 30 mins away, and a event cinema only 5 mins away.
