Gold edition doesn't seem worth it. $60 extra and all you get is the season pass? Is the season pass even worth $60?

    • +1

      whats a season pass

      • +3

        All DLC

    • It's Ubisoft so half the game will be DLC, so… maybe?

      • +1

They don't relase all the dlc when the game releases and I doubt the season pass will be more than $60 on release so no real point in getting it now.

      • +1

The last two Ass Creed games have been absolutely huge (like 40 hours, almost too long imo). So I don't think the DLC is needed for most

    • You get a Steelbook, good if you're a collector

  • Use Get 20% Off with 100 Club Units, pretty good. I saved a lot

    • Any easy way to get these..?

      • +1

Yeah by playing any Ubisoft games

    • Same price at Amazon even with the 20% off

      • +1

More pricey, PS4/Xbox are at $99.95 -20% @ Ubi Store, it is still $80 so $11 more than Amazon or JB (C&C)

  • The cover image for the Xbox version on Amazon mentions "Xbox Series X - Xbox One". I know all Xbox One games will work on the Series X but does this mean there will not be a separate version for the new console? The PlayStation cover just shows "PlayStation 4". So, does that mean there will be a separate PlayStation 5 version?

  • I heard somewhere that the PS4 version comes with a PS5 DL code. Can anyone confirm this?

    • +1

      yes
Purchase Assassin's Creed Valhalla on PlayStation®4 or Xbox One and upgrade your game to the next-gen version (PlayStation®5 or Xbox Series X) at no additional cost.*

  • +4

No point to preorder as there are always enough supply.

    • +1

Might be the best/only way to order it for us Victorians

    • Well with Amazon and JB Hi-Fi you get Pre-Order Price Guarantee
When you pay for your pre-order upfront and the price drops before release day you will be refunded the difference shortly after release.

And the price will probably rise on the release date.

      • And if you're not too keen on playing Day 1, you could always wait for the price to drop, or go for the Used market. But I anticipate used market is going to dry out now, since some PS4 games are offering a free upgrade to ps5(If you have the disk I believe)

  • +1

Cheap price for a game that allows you to get the series x or ps5 version. Which is where I’d want to play this. Given with the new console games prices are meant to be going up, I’ll jump on this.

  • Amazon says the Xbox version will be dec 31 - "This item will be released on December 31, 2020". JB HIFI is 17/11/20

    • Got an email from Amazon with a new release date updated - 17/11/20

  • +1

Still trying to finish Odyssey's main storyline.. let alone the DLC's.

    Ordered cattle class edition.

    Thanks.

  • +1

I'll be busy with cyberpunk.. lol

  • +2

Still playing odyssey, just wait a few months the price usually drops fast

  • +1

its been $69 at amazon fr ages. the gold edition is $118 at amazon and has been fr quite a while

  • Odyssey was my first AC game as the traditional AC gameplay didnt appeal to me.
    I really enjoyed it.
I hope Valhalla is more of the same, refined.

Blows skyrim out of the water in terms of raw gameplay, tho TES series has much more customisation and specialisation.

    • Not sure why you would compare it to Skyrim, they are nothing alike, a better comparrision would be The Witcher 3.
