There is a "vegan" version but looks like very similar. Personally not sure of the difference so happy to be educated.

Personally not sure of the difference so happy to be educated

Vegetarian: will kill a cow for milk and leather shoes and comfy car seats but not for meat. Will kill a bird for her eggs or feathers or because they're male and can't produce eggs but not for meat, except on cheat days when a bit of chicken or fish flesh is acceptable.

Vegan: won't kill a cow, won't kill a bird, or otherwise interfere with them, unless, maybe, if they're on a desert island, which is apparently quite common according to nonvegans and a good reason to refute any good argument.

"There is a "vegan" version but looks like very similar. Personally not sure of the difference so happy to be educated." OP wasn't sure about the difference between the 2 ebooks, not between veganism and vegetarianism.

I'm not going to get these 2 ebooks as they are low on reviews and have comments like 'Did the author do any research or did he just pick random recipes off of the internet? Considering the name of the book, The Vegan Cookbook, why is chicken stock used in some of the recipes, for example the vegetable pie.'

In general neither book would contain animal flesh products while the vegan cookbook would substitute out animal based oil and fats (butter, cream etc) as well as animal proteins (eggs, etc). In some cases things like figs (which depending on if they are naturally pollinated by wasps) can be considered non-vegan.

In this case chicken stock shouldn't have been in either of them, but probably easy enough to substitute in a vegetable stock.

What’s the know? Just leave meat out of almost any meal and you’re done.

      Spaghetti Bolognese… Spaghetti Napoli.
Roast chicken and potatoes… roast potatoes.
      Meatloaf… loaf.
Chilli con carne… chilli con nada.

      So much easier!

      • Mmmm Loaf….

      • You should try licking my vegetarian meatballs.

Or just add meat to any of these recipes! Easy.
Ignore the animal rights politics and enjoy the tasty animal flesh full of iron and other nutrients…
      And always lots of cheese…

I tell myself the same thing every time I think twice about the sex slave in my dungeon

        • Yeah but lions have sex slaves too. It's the circle of sex life. Checkmate loser.
