$8 (Was $20) for First 3 Renewals of amaysim Unlimited 8GB (Was 5GB), Get 8GB as Long as You Stay on The Plan

180

August deal by Amaysim.

Pay $8 per 28 days for first 3 renewals and get 8GB per 28 days. Includes Unlimited National Talk and Text.

After 3 renewals, you still get 8GB per 28 days but plan defaults to $20 per renewal.

Not that great a deal, but looks like Amaysim is playing with giving deals on each of its various plans to understand customer choice.

  • First 3 renewals it’s ok price but then $20 for 8gb? Way too expensive I think people would prefer to spend a bit less when on offer and get a boost 240gb usually $300 but at times $250.
Or even catchconnect 120gb @150 (but usually for much less with vouchers/unidays) is a much better deal

  • Can you be an existing customer for this?

    • Nope. Existing customers still have to pay $20, and ge 5GB only, i.e. the original plan offering.

Remember when amaysim actually had good deals?

    • You meant "when Amaysim actually had amayzing deals"?

    • Like in July… when they had 200GB for $40 for however long you were on the plan?

Weren't the best Amaysim deals on Groupon?

  • Btw if I stop using amaysim does that mean I won't have referral credit or does it stay on and become accessible if I join them again?

    Thanks for the post

  • As a comparison the $40 Belong starter pack for $20 will get you 4 Months 23GB ($5 per month) using Option 1 or 3 Months 82GB ($6.66 per month) using Option 2.

Plus Belong months are 30 days.

  • so If I use this with a referral ($10?), will it be $6 for two months (8*2 - 10) ? Can I order a sim now and activate it later (current Kogan one runs out mid of next month)?

    • +1

Not sure how the $10 is applied but please don't confuse Amaysim's 28 days as a month, this is what they want you to do.

      • thanks guys didn't know it :) Then, I just want to use this for 28*2 as a break between two Kogan 90 days vouchers, will it work for $6 ? also is it pure prepaid or postpaid-ish prepaid like Belong ?

If one considers 28 days = 1 month, then there are 13 months in a year.
      28 x 13 = 364
