A refurb sold a couple of years ago?
How is 2019 a couple of years ago

Lenovo MIIX 320 Laptop for $1,217.99 is a bit insane, considering a refurb sold for $151 a couple of years ago.
I'm just quoting scrimshaw (just wondering, is this your other account?).
Obviously 2019 was a year ago but why would I check his linked post when he already said "a couple of years ago" himself. We are living in 2020, not 2019, aren't we?
oops I accidentally time travelled using a microwave oven
:-)
Do these work with Home Assistant?
Doesn’t look like they work with the Zigbee Gateway that I have.
Maybe if you have the Bluetooth gateway.
🤷🏻♂️I've been following the development their integration and as mentioned you'll need a BLE gateway at the least (like an ESP32).
The previous version was easy to work with but this model has encryption on transmission, and to get the comms decrypted you need the key from a phone that has connected to them before. It's a bit of a process. Here is a GitHub issue for more reading
Does it come with battery?
AUD price is $22.52 delivered, not 15.85 (4 Pcs XIAOMI Mijia Bluetooth Thermometer)
$22.52 is unregistered mail, for registered mail is $24.56
a CR2032 button battery for one-year.
I have a thermopro one from Amazon that uses one triple AAA battery. I use a Ikea Ladda low discharge one in it, saving money from outdated and wasteful primary batteries.
Agree never like that button batteries
They have valid use cases like watches and other space restrictive places but in a unit wide enough for a triple A battery they're redundant.
I have one of these thermometers and have just compared it to an AAA battery, and they are both shorter and narrower than an AAA battery.
@aushades: I don't doubt it, that there is smaller thermometers that efficiently use button cells. Redundant in this sized unit I meant, for it to be this big but use button batteries when a few millimetres bigger unit wise would yield better and more efficient batteries.
Waste of space/non efficient use of button batteries.
@Skinnerr: Ah, fair enough. Point taken - cheers!

Not at this time of the year, rep.
