Cheap 2080 Super deal if you can't wait for ampere. Very good AIB cooler. Would buy except it doesn't fit my case (Define Mini C). So check your case support fellas.

Gaming Z Trio 2080Ti on sale as well at a crazy price: https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/msi-geforce-rtx-2080-…
It's depressing that GPUs pushing $2000 are now considered to be a "crazy price".
Unless when you say "crazy" you mean "insane" or "outrageous" then I'm with you.
it's about 20% cheaper comparing to the recent price
Doesn't make paying ~$2k for a GPU any less crazy
@dmouse81: Paying $400,000 for a Ferrari is crazy too. But if you can afford it, go for it.
@cnut: Ferrari's didn't almost double in price over a 12 month period either.
@dmouse81: $2k is relatevily cheap for 27 TFLOPS at ft16, so depending on usage, the price may be reasonable

How does this compare to the gigabyte rtx 2080 Super gaming oc ? From shopping express…
This one: https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-…
Edit: Gaming OC comes with 4 years of warranty if you register it within 30 days of purchase.
Now i just need to find the performance difference.
I have the 2080ti versions of both cards, the performance is very similar (better comparing to 2 slots WINDFORCE version, it has lower default power limit and worse cooling, plus required warranty repair). I think MSI cooling may be slightly better but not significantly. I'd personally get MSI but an extra year of warranty makes it harder to choose.
Just letting you know in advance that this card is very long (I have the "normal" RTX2080 version). May not fit all cases when you plug it in. Otherwise it is fantastic performance.
can anybody share whether this goes well with a Ryzen 7 3700X + Aorus Master MB + 32Ghz RAM 3200Mhz CL16?
Sharing is appreciated fam :)
I'd consider a 2080 Super a good pairing for those specs if you have to buy now and can't wait for next gen.
If you can wait a few months them that's what I would be (and am) doing.
i have this card (>6 months now) cant fault it.
except its long and fat and really limits your case choices."Cheap"
Picked up one thru their eBay store a month ago (For this price, with a code) pretty happy with it. Couldn't be bothered waiting for ampere.
