estimate delivery to sydney nsw 2000:
    Australia Post: $8.63
    Star Track: $14.92
    Star Track Express: $19.90

  • $8-ish postage in Sydney.
    Woof.

    • I guess potential price match at Officeworks?

      • +1

        they will add the postage

        • +1

Didn't knew about that, I always thought they'd price match brick and mortar stores without factoring the postage. I guess it's different when it's an interstate store.

@Cousin IT: You are correct. My apologies about the grammatical error, it appears that my grammar skills went out of the window once I started using contractions.

                • +1

@Shostaholic: All good! I was replying to @Overcomerak who seems to have tried to correct you without actually doing so. :)

                • +1

@Shostaholic: I kniw what you meant.

              • +1

@Cousin IT: This is one of the most common grammatical errors I see and a lot of times the perpetrator tries to argue he/she is correct!

      • Has anyone successfully price matched at OW?

  • +4

I wonder if driving around town trying to price match a 9 dollar sd card is considered as essential….

$8.63 postage to Perth via Aus Post. what are the chances it arrives in a $1.10 envelope..

still a few buck cheaper than amazon

    • +1

      Haha true.

    • postage to perth is too expensive. not worth getting this $9 card.

  • +3

As of now, we have alot alot of stocks in Sunshine/Warehouse, good for those who live around the area for pickup

    • -2

then why 1 per order, I need a couple

      • +7

we want to make sure all customers can enjoy the bargain

      • Price beat at your local office works

        • -5

Support your local business please :)

          • +11

@beetran: Officeworks is local though you're up in the sunshine and charging exorbitant postage

          • +4

@beetran: Well, I ordered the only 1 I could from you for C & C, then went to Officeworks and purchased a few more. Guess I've supported two local businesses

    • +4

Are you guys planning any deals for 512GB MicroSD cards? Thanks :)

      • +3

Not at this stage unfortunately. This is just a once off promo since the boss is in good mood today

    • I was just about to order AOC’s Q32V3/WS for delivery and added this, but now the monitor is out of stock for delivery. :(

      • Look like end of life model, no more stocks coming at all.

        • :-(

  • Would these be good for a Nintendo Switch?
I'm fairly local and would be happy to support Centrecom, always been a good business

    • +6

64 GB too less for Switch. If you download games (instead of buying physical copies) then minimum 128 GB

      • Cheers ended up ordering anyway. Really cant go wrong at $9 and most games I prefer the physical copy.

      • +2

        Thanks bajirao mastani

  • No good for a dash cam, high endurance is better due to the constant writing. But a great price for 64 GB.

    • what about Ultra SD cards, just ordered one from Amazon but not sure if its good for dashcams?

      • The dashcam itself might not kill the card, but it will fry in direct Aussie sunlight

      • +1

Samsung Pro Endurance 32GB for $17.20. That’s what I bought.

    • meh, no point wasting too much money on dedicated dash cam card, I have a fair share of microsd card and only one got roasted by a rpi, none of them die it my my dashcams yet, even the most buggy one that corrupt every single last video file it has written on before being power off.

      • I have had 4 sd cards die on me - all were sandisk ultra cards.
        Ive stopped buying them

I think the extreme cards are from a higher grade but I cant be sure - Im using 50/50 sandisk extreme and samsung evo+ now.

    • I use these in two of my dashcams and they're fine. Officeworks have them for $21.57 though so not worth the effort for me.

      • How long have you used them for?

    • These good for DSLR cameras? I guess they all have different speed sd card readers/writers huh.

  • +2

Just got an 1Tb Sdxc extreme Pro
And received it with bubble form protective envelop today

    https://imgur.com/a/OslFSvJ

    • How much was it? And what is it for? Switch?

      • A non-main stream usage

as I want to add more storage to my laptop and don’t want to mess with upgrading the 4 years old machine (m2 sata 256GB SSD, 1 TB still cheaper ), so i just buy one and insert it into my laptop's memory card slot.

the old laptop still can work for a couple of years later, and i can invest my next dream computer with DDR5 standard, gen4 NVME.
The 1TB sd card then can be used in my dash cam or drone? camera?

        :)

        • How much was it?

          • @Lysander: It costs me for 345$

Forget to turn my cr on probably 5more %off.

  • +1

It's $16 on eBay for Evo ones. So works out to be the same with shipping

    • Do you have the Link?

      • -2

just search micro sd evo and put minimum price as $16 in filter

  • Will this be good enough for an Osmo Action camera? Don't care about the 64 gig size but performance wise?

    • I use one of these in my GoPro, but it might be a good idea to check the Osmo website for compatibility with your model.

      • -1

i have osmo. It needs the evo versions. otherwise says the card is too slow even if class 10

  • Online is out of stock now. Only in store available.

  • ordered 1 last night for C&C, and just waiting for confirmation email… great for indoor security camera over a usb stick

  • Can’t seem to order for C and C anymore? No option of ordering or adding to cart on the website.

  • Instore only!? Is this classed as an essential item?

    • Was available online until this morning.

  • How long has there been an Centrecom in Richmond?

  • When I ordered, the message was to wait for confirmation to pickup.
How long do I need to wait?
