FAQs
Q How long have you been importing tea for?
A Purematcha was established in September 2018. We have been importing and selling Matcha tea and accessories since September 2018
Q Do you have a shop front?
A No, our operations are solely online. We are Sydney based. You can purchase our products directly from our website and we also sell on eBay
Q Why can I buy Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha on eBay for much cheaper?
A Yes this is true. But beware of cheap matcha from eBay. Most cheap variants are not actually from Japan. Some are just any old green tea leaves that haven't been shade-grown nor stone milled and picked from a harvest a long time ago. Check the packaging date as well, as Matcha generally has a 12 month shelf life.
Q Is this Australian stock or drop-shipped?
A This is Australian warehouse stock. Our matcha is packaged and labelled directly from the farm so there's no double handling. The matcha sold with this set was packaged on 22nd July 2020.
Q The utensils in the tea set, where are they made?
A Whisk, bamboo scoop, whisk stand, tea sieve are made in China. The AMAYA Chawan matcha bowl is hand made in Mino JAPAN.
We accept Paypal, Afterpay, Laybuy and Shopify payments.

This seems way overpriced. I can assemble the set by ordering the various items for probably half your "sale" price, and I'm being generous. How about providing a real bargain and not an ad?
