  • I once bought this shaver from 'The Shaver Shop' when it was on sale for a similar price. I only used it once as I found it way too weak to use on the face and it didn't achieve the "precision" it boasts about. Better used as a body trimmer.

  • The clippers I bought from K-Mart for $20 look better than these clippers, and I use them with a number 1 fitting to trim my beard, and various other fittings for doing my hair and sideburns. You actually will find it much easier with a more powerful motor as it will cut properly and not grab the hair as you move the clippers. Takes a little practice, but if you're a true oz-bargainer you can save yourself hundreds of dollars in hair cut bills…

Tip 1: Some of these come with a video to show you stuff like blending between the top and the sides, and that can be really helpful. I imagine these days there would be stuff like that on youtube, and I would highly recommend it.

Tip 2: Do it the first time when you're just going on holidays to somewhere not many people who know you will see you. Or get someone who knows how to teach you.
