For first membership its just $19 each, no need to buy a second one :)

  • I guess that scroll wheel only pretends to be a trackball?

Anyway not a bad deal at $19 for one.

If it's anything like their mechanical keyboards I probably wouldn't bother

Yep just had my keyboard fail after 13 months and they said "warranty is only 12 months and we believe its fulfilled its lifespan so too bad champ"

I never knew we had to buy keyboards every year.

      • doesnt ACL state that warranty should be at least 12 months

        • +3

Nope it states a reasonable lifespan of a product. No one in their right mind would consider 12 months for a keyboard a reasonable lifespan.

Take the pricks to small claims court and make them waste money by having to send a representative to waste a day away.

          • @Tacooo: Sorry I meant to say 24 months

          • @Tacooo: lol seems like a lot of effort - I might just make better keyboard choices I think

            • +3

@Fergy1987: True, but you could also be the guy who gets awarded a new keyboard and makes a statement against them.

              • +1

@Tacooo: kogan are pricks imo, something should be done to raise awareness about them.

If you win in small claims court(which i highly believe you will), hope you can be the face raising awareness about them pricks

      • I mean, did key-switch die or whole keyboard? I have ducky and corsair both had a couple of keyswitch die. I just brought some new ones and re-solder them, cheaper than sending back for them to fix.

        • LED lights started to fail first, so if you set everything to white, a bunch of them were orange/white - which I was like whatever. But then switches started not registering keystrokes.
Dont know how to solder and it was only like 40 bucks or something so I'm not too phased. Might check out the Tecware Phantom

          • @Fergy1987: Yeah that LED happen on early models of corsair strafe keyboard as well. I had to return it and grab anne pro instead.

Yeah, not everyone know how to solder but relative easy after you learn how to, the skill it making it look nice.

I just ask supplier that sold anne pro to chuck in some switchs for free.

If it bunch of keyswitch not is probs no worth the hassle if it a few or just one why not.

What do you call mouse that swears?

    A cursor

    I'll see myself out.

  • I got one of these for $12.99 on 24/3/20.

    • Worth $12.99?

      • it does the job. I only use it for basic stuff while working from home, a bit more comfortable that a traditional style mouse. can't complain for $12.99.

  • I paid 15 on these: https://www.kmart.com.au/product/ergonomic-wireless-mouse/28…

I am enjoying so far. The edges are a bit sharp but I filed them and they are fine now.
I bought this one because I didn't know if I would like the vertical mouse, I didn't want to pay 100+ on the Logitech one.

    • Logitech one seems way overpriced, esp. it doesn't have the inertia scroll (or whatever it's called at Logitech). Its advantage is bluetooth. And most probably built quality.

The $15 Kmart one is alright, but I'd rather give the Kogan's a go for $4 more. It seems to look (I can only see Kogan pics) a way better and maybe I could do something with those extra buttons on my mac.

      • Keep us posted, I would like to know how you like the Kogan one

        • I'm not buying. I own this one https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/j-burrows-…, paid full price, it's alright.

BT would be nice. At first I missed inertia scrolling and horizontal scrolling, but I can live without. I switched after 10 years of using Magic Mouse, which was great, but so flat if screwed up my wrist, apparently.

  • I assume this would be no good for left handers?

    • Yeah, not good for left handed

  • Hi All, I have just received the mouse, plugged in my macbook, no issues connecting. Using fine, mouse is a bit smaller than expected but okay for office work I guess
