  • What's the RRP in Australia going to be?

    • Dunno about the RRP, but I think for PC it will be had for around $75?

Seems the Whirlpool PC crew are going for this Amazon preload deal - $50:

      http://www.amazon.com/Battlefield-Limited-Preload-Available-…

The Xbox 360 / PS3 guys should keep their eyes on JB's 3 for 1 on Thursday…if they add the Limited Edition to that, then you can score a local copy for $60 or less ; )

      • Pre-ordered my LE from HN for $67 (PC). Don't mind paying a bit extra to have it on release, rather than waiting 2-3 weeks.

Why does it keeps replying to you when I chose to reply to Kirt? Anyways, that pre load from amazon is only for U.S?

  • Will the CD-key be steam compatible?

    • +1

Battlefield 3 is going to be an Origin exclusive title, there is no planned support for Steam.

  • +1

Not sure why but here it is (Non Limited) for $48.99 AUD.

ausgamez.com sells for cheaper at $46.98. I win.

    • Out of stock?

  • An alternative would be to just buy a cd key for ~$40. That way you don't have to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive from the UK, while still getting a cheaper price. Not sure if this is posted anywhere else

Even cheaper if you just want the standard version ~$31 for Russian ~$37 for EU

  • What about £30/$46 + shipping from Game / Gamestation UK for physical warfare pack?

  • -4

No deal. The Hut or Zavvi is only $45.66.

    • +3

Actually, Zavvi would be closer to $49 when you include 0.99 pounds for shipping + PayPal's exchange rate (or your bank's currency conversion cost). Therefore the difference is a touch under three dollars. Then you have to factor in the Player Points system from Ozgameshop. When you buy BF3 you get 1325 PP. As 5000 PP gets you a $5 voucher, 1325 PP = a discount of approximately $1.33. Factoring all of these things in, Zavvi is only about $1.70 cheaper.

Judging by the two dozen or so games I have ordered from Ozgameshop and Zavvi in the past year I would say that Ozgameshop is also the quicker one in terms of delivery. I received Halo: Reach from Ozgameshop a mere two days after local release because they sent it about 5 days prior to release. For these reasons I would order from Ozgameshop.

      • I also believe that Ozgameshop is the better choice here.

  • I have brought a lot of games via OzGameShop and the delivery time is rather quick, I haven't pre-ordered anything before from them thou, so hopefully the shops don't break the release date like they did for Batman!

  • I like this deal better
