German made series 6 Bosch Dishwasher, bit like most other things this isn't an amazing price and could be had for about $850 on a good special last year but this is a good price in Covid times, especially if you have discounted gift cards.
All though people rate the Bosch series 6 dishwashers I'd recommend considering the 5 year concierge for $195, seems many of these new dishwashers don't last the journey.
Don't forget the 3% cashrewards.

Yeah there have been supply issues is my understanding, think the Bosch factory shutdown in Germany for awhile as an example. Like last year you could get the series 8 on special for less than this price, but talking to sales reps and it doesn't seem like the prices will be coming down anytime soon.
I got the serie 6 for $1119 in late April. Arrived slightly damaged so I got a $100 refund.
I had a dryer delivered from the good guys too two years ago. Slightly damaged on the side. I can't remember how much i got my money back for compensation. Not sure if I wanted to buy from the good guys again. Their delivery service is not good at securing heavy items.
Sales rep said this…
I mean multiple stores had the same story, as well as news article describing the shortage
Hopefully the price will go down again
I saw series 8 with tiny invisible dent in $1170 last week on homeclearance.
Its worth to put an alert on that website for any product u r interested in.
Free delivery and free old appliance removal
That’s a good price for current times. I bought one of these 2 weeks ago as my last Bosch finally gave up after 17years. Don’t think I’ll get that kind of run on the new one. Cutlery tray is good (you’ll either love it or hate it wash performance is only just on par with my old one.
So it isn't washing very well? Yeah you're spot on, will probably be lucky to get half that time
My Bosch is a biotch with plastic items. The water pressure flips them over. I have to weigh down all smallish plastics with plates on top
Why have I never thought to put a plate on top 😭
They were selling the series 8 for this price pre COVID.
I can't bring myself to pay the same price for the lower model even though I need a new dishwasher… What to do …I weighed up the same but realistically it was still very good sales to get the series 8 at this price pre-Covid, it’s hard to see the series 8 getting to these prices in the short term. Even the same series 6 for sale at $1080 last year attracted a lot of interest https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/477870
Been watching these for awhile so I had purchased $1000 worth of gift cards at 10% off from the recent Woolworths deal. Also got a $20 concierge credit that come with a spend $500 and get $60 credit today so I decided it was time to pull the trigger.
FYI - There is a recall on certain (old) Bosch dishwasher models made between 2000-2006, See: https://www.bosch-home.com.au/customer-service/repair-servic…. Mine recently died and fortunately I saw this. Aside from offering a repair, the other option is 70% off RRP of a new model (free delivery & installation). Perhaps someone gets lucky like me ;-)
I've got this and its a love - hate relationship.
I love the quiet and the general cleaning ability (even on the fast mode which halves the time). Cutlery drawer is ok but you lose headroom on middle rack.
I hate the way the middle rack is arranged, making it difficult to stack efficiently. The right side shelf on that rack is basically useless unless you are using espresso cups a lot because of the width of the shelf and the wine glass holder things. In my old Asko, I could have coffee mugs below with wine glasses tilted over them on their fold out. This has no room beneath the wine glasses for anything bigger than an espresso or shot glass. I've removed one of the wine glass holder things to get more space there, but even then the shelf isn't really wide enough for a coffee mug either. The rest of the shelf is hard to arrange as well, plus you cant put taller glasses (pint size etc ) onto is easily unless you adjust the rack height down (which is a nice feature). The trouble is that you end blocking the spinnin sprayer arm if you have full size plates below.
Thanks for the feedback, sort of doubting myself now, people really praised the cutlery draw but with what you mentioned may have been better off with the model with no cutlery draw.
I've got this but in white. I like the cutlery drawer - I sort out the cutlery when I load it so it's easy to put away. The mugs go in the middle shelf on the sides, kids cups and spatulas in the middle. We often do a full load every second day and we don't often use the quick wash because it misses some spots
I agree that Bosch have idiots designing their racks. The angles of everything are ludicrous.
Good price Covid times? Have appliances gone up in price recently?
