Seems like a this is a really old model, those bezel are so thick!

      • at least 2016 at the minimum

        a TN 60 FHD 24 is kind of… oof

but you did say "2nd monitor", how is that different to a dual monitor setup?

Do you put one monitor behind the other instead of side by side?

        • Maybe for a notebook.

          • @juzza87: ok i was thinking desktops but you have a point

        • Would work fine as a second monitor for work. I like to post up documents side by side or manage my emails in one window and work in another. You don't need thin bezals for that stuff.

So true, I used to have a 2010 version Samsung monitor and it looks identical. They are probably offloading really old stock and calling it a “gaming monitor” I don’t think this is a good deal at all. Go on gumtree or Facebook marketplace and you’ll find one that looks like this for $50. Do not buy

      • $50 used , no warranty

vs this new and 3 yrs warranty

not saying this is a good price , but 24" FHD … brand new from retail with warranty … you want $50 ?

I am not saying to buy that one in particular but I am just saying that there are so many better alternatives for the same price and this is old stock. Samsung had that $150 27 inch LED IPS 75 hz monitor a couple of weeks ago, just saying that this is terrible value for your money.

    Gaming???? It's 60hz…

On another note will the datavac be back in stock??

If it was at least 75hz then yeah…but you're simply following the title so no downvote

edit: only mwave is titling the monitor with "gaming", Samsung or other stores aren't even doing it so this is false advertising. At least 75hz+

  • Cheaper if we pick up from your store OP?

Avoid this company bunch of clowns

If this is bad.. can anyone recommend something better for the price?

My old samsung just started flickering.. so it's on its way out

  • All i want is a good 24" IPS LED monitor with VESA mount for like $100, so i can buy 10.

  • I think this model doesn't have VESA mounting holes, so can't be mounted on any aftermarket stand.

  • Compared to the curved newer samsungs for ~$150 from other recent deals, this one isnt brilliant.
The other one is a VA too.

  • Mwave has been my preferred supplier for a long time, I must have spent $10k with them in the past, but their system must be currently broken or they have new owners.

My "All items in stock, < 24 hour processing" order and it hasn't even indicated as shipped yet, 8 days later. No phone support, 2-3 day support ticket turnaround.

The problem is you get stuck: 20%+ restocking fee if you cancel the order, no credit card fees back, and it takes 2-3 days for them to even get the cancellation. That would be $600 and two weeks lost in my case, not to mention the compromises I made and extra I paid to choose items in stock.
