Price drop on 3700X. Ships from the US. One of the more popular CPUs.
Looks like free shipping is to major cities only, country buyers get stung with $69 fee. Send it to a friend and pickup or AusPost it?

Let’s me go to payment with free shipping but they do add their bs $3 processing fee.
I haven't bought this item but I got all the way to the payment page without having the shipping included?
Nevermind. Free shipping to Perth but not elsewhere in WA. I can drive to Perth to get it for $80 😂
May depend on the shipper. Diff stores in there.
Wow, great price!
For those wondering, I ordered a motherboard and nvme m.2 from Newegg on 21/6/2020 and it arrived on 1/7/2020 8 business days.
Adding to this, I ordered the Ryzen 3700x from the previous Newegg deal ($469.54) on 29/06/2020 and it is scheduled to arrive 22/07/20.
So your mileage may vary.
yep I find them a bit random, ordered an SSD that took just over 2 months just after xmas, ordered some memory that took 2 weeks at the same time. I actually wonder with them if often they sell stuff that is not in stock.
Don’t forget BTCJUNEAUS for $75 off orders plus $460 if you pay with bitcoin.
Which is pretty damn good!
Can you recommend a low-cost way to get some bitcoins just for this transaction? Never transacted in BTC before.
It's expired anyway so annoying!
Expires in 14 hours.
@HomeAlone: I have no option to pay and it removes the choice saying it expired :(
@smpantsonfire: Have you got at least $511.50 worth of eligible items in your cart?
@HomeAlone: Yeah, it even applies the code. I have the 3700x and 32 corsair 3600cl18 ram
@smpantsonfire: Try another browser or account?
I just went all the way through the checkout and over to BitPay without any issues.
Man, I have no idea, ended up paying $495 after exchanging to BTC for a $460 order. Still a $40 saving I guess, but damn, there's definitely a better way.
I was never able to get payments with bitcoin to work; accepted the code for discount but the pay with bitcoin button is alwaya greyed out.
"ERROR The promo code BTCJUNEAUS requires a minimum purchase amount before it can be redeemed."
Over $465?
I was trying to figure this out yesterday. You need to have only approved items which qualify for the deal. Mostly either RAM or graphics cards. Also I think it calculates the $465 pre-GST.
It says code is invalid for this country (US). What should I do?
Worth noting that you may get a free download key for Assassin's Creed Valhalla with this Link to article and Terms and conditions from AMD website
Newegg not listed as participating retailer in the terms and conditions.
Newegg definitely has it, just not available for Australia, US and Canada can get the game.
Pretty sure only applies to brick and mortar stores.
the new one is going to be ?? 20% faster for 40% more cost, you can't beat this for $
I would hardly call it old and definitely not slow… CPU wise im only waiting for the new gen because i want to see if prices fall further not because this gen is old or slow… Which it isn't in any way, shape or form
No point buying that new cpu either, as a new and faster one will be out a year later anyway
Slow ? WTF are you smoking?
Lol 1 year old yes… slow? Still a very quick CPU
price/performance wise this is an excellent buy, it is NOT slow. The newer generation will be out in a few months and be a little faster (probably in the 10-20% range) but will be significantly more expensive. This CPU is a good choice for some time to come yet and will probably still be one of the best choices even after the new generation is released.
$69 shipping for me!
Bill n Ted would say…… Excellent!
Yeah, someone above said the same. Free shipping to major cities only by the looks. Can you get it delivered to someone in a city and have them Aus post it to you?
NewEgg has always shipped to just the U.S.A are you sure they ship to Australia? if so are you paying GST on top of that and import fees?
Newegg checkout process handles all of that.
The page says the price is $397 AUD Normally duty is 5% of the total price incl. shipping however some categories are exempt Cpu is classified under Computer & Office(cdf categories) duty payable on this category is 0% so the total price is just $397 +10% GST which $436.70
They ship to AU.
How is warranty/returns like with Newegg? its something that I have always been worried about vs Amazon. Does buyer pay for return shipping?
Might get better response with a post in the forums.
Looking to build a new ryzen build.
Gaming and music production.
Will a 3700 be enough, or a 3800 is what i should aim for. Moreso for the music production, plugins and multiple softwares can take up alot of cpu buffer.
3700 will definitely be enough.
Reviewers say the price difference pays for a letter, not any real performance.
looking for a new build, get this, or wait for Ryzen 4700X toward the end of the year?
Not in a Hurry, within the next 3-6 months
Newegg increased price so possibly wait, new AMD and Nvidia gfx cards should be released around then as well.
Thanks, Ok will wait, I got the original Ryzen 1700x with Nvidia 1070 still going strong.
Need another PC so will wait and it will be a Xmas present for someone
If you have Prime, you can buy Ryzen 7 3700X for $455.98 with Free shipping.
I got mine 2 days ago
AMD! YES!
TY, pulled the trigger with this one. Also got the 2x16gb Ripjaws with it.
New setup slowly coming together with the Samsung 860 SSD i got with cashback and monitor through their education store
*** Looks like they've since increased the price to 488.40 (incl GST)
Yeah looks expired so I’ll end it. Cheers for that and good luck with the build!
Every time I try Newegg it says free shipping but then adds shipping?
