  • Good experience with them,no issue with 4k streaming

    • Expressvpn no.1 from past experience too, you get what you pay for.

Plans are the same cost to everyone right, may as well list how much it is - 12 months is US$100 with AU$40 cashback should be roughly ~AU$104

There is 3 months free so 15 months total but yes that would be the net cost.

Thanks OP, just signed up with a new email address to get the cashback. My renewal is coming up this week so good timing!

      • You should also receive cashback tracking very quickly with ExpressVPN. Cheers.

  • does express VPN still support US netflix?
i heard a while ago that it did but netflix is super fast on geoblocking

    • EVPN are supposed to be the best. If EVPN doesn't work then good luck with another VPN.
I'm signing up because they're the only one I know that is supposed to work reliably with Netflix Japan.

  • Are they good with Netflix ? I have Windscribe but rarely use VPN

  • The quality of Express VPN blows other VPNs away but I just didn't use VPN often enough to justify the cost.

  • Can you stack the subscription?
Obviously cannot get the cashback But will an extra 15 months add on to my subscription?

This is a good deal for a premium VPN. Agreed blows all other vpns just in the streaming space + implementation methods via mediastreamer DNS or router level OpenVPN.

Works really well on Asus WRT-Merlin firmware on a multitude of routers, even setting chromecast/appletv and streaming device to another location at the flick of an on/off switch for the OpenVPN config.

Timely too… my 15mths expires in 29 days. Thanks OP

    • What do you mean by “flick of an on off switch?” - please if you could, how does it work on an Apple TV?

      • you won't even need the on/off switch method on openvpn in router settings if you literally just want it for streaming.

Once you have an account, just setup the dns on both the appletv and/or streaming device:
        https://www.expressvpn.com/support/vpn-setup/stream-to-apple….

        • So.. once you set up your streaming device with the mediastreamer DNS, how do you chose your location?…

      • Otherwise, if your router supports the wrt-merlin firmware, you can have multiple Location setups. For Example:
        https://ibb.co/7yGDPcH

All my streaming devices in openvpn slot1 are connect to Los Angeles as per ip tables at the bottom, then my OpenVpn Slot 2 is all other IP addresses and is setup for Brisbane. It's because we used to AirBnB our rooms and our guests used to do some dodgy stuff

  • NordVPN is a dumb gimmick with thousands of servers that don't work for streaming. With ExpressVPn.. theres certain ones that always work, ie New Jersey 1, 2 and 3 always work for Netflix and Hulu.. if an IP ever gets blocked, they simply change the IP in the backend.. none of this trying to find one out of the thousands BS… just set and forget the desired location in router/openvpn/etc

  • Anyone got emailed by them after signup, asking for Billing Address and real (contactable) phone number?
Just received an email from them, asking the above or purchase refunded in 48hours
