JB Carindale had half a dozen of the 65x8000h for $1295 if you’re in Brisbane
Can you please send photo?
.
no wonder you have 70000 comments
@jv: We all are chasing a high. In reality it should be food/sex, instead we have compromised with more attainable endorphins like responses or likes on our comments online. With this translation we can see things in a different light.
@tee123: So what you are saying is the isn't a good price for a Sony?
@jv: translated to:
"So what you are saying is this isn't a good price for a Sony?"@ozzieozzieozzie: I'm still waiting for the photo.
Shouldn't it be
"May you please send a photo?"
Or
"May you please send a few/some/several photos?"
Any idea if they're still there? Do they deliver? And are you sure its the 8000H? The 8000G is $1295 on their site.
8000h or 8000g? They had a massive price increase this year when our dollar fell off a cliff.
In store right now and can confirm it's the X8000G for $1295.
Did you end up buying it?
@Fuzor: Yeah picked one up on behalf of someone else, they wanted one asap and this seemed to be a great deal for a Sony TV in the current environment.
Good price - its also the same on their commercial site … was hoping for slightly cheaper there.
I am looking to buy a 75or85 inch TV and considering the Hisense Q8 or the other big brand TV. It seems to me that after the EOFY sale the price has gone up a bit… should have actioned earlier.
costco has the sony 75 inch 8000g for 2000, check its website
recently helped install 85 Q8 and it looks great for the money,
Sony 8500H isn't expected to arrive in August and probably another $1K more.
What is the price you paid for that one? It would be great if Hisense Q8 85 inch can drop to $3500
$3850,
appliances central on ebay with 20% code maxed at $300.
bought a 82" RU8000 sammy for ~2200…
they were clearing out at $2495 at one stage
bought store gift cards at 7% off to bring down the price…very happy with the picture/set
other than the in menu adverts which are slightly annoying.
Not a fantastic price IMO when I got a 2019 oled for $2600 and this is an old model
What deal was that?
Pretty certain this is a 2020 model, the X8000G was last year's model.
Check Hisense Q8 (full-array local dimming)
Worth the extra $300?
I'm pretty sure they were going for about $1599 during the recent Ebay / Appliance Central sale
I want Q8 deal back :(
@ecumgo: Click Frenzy again from 21st July, may be worthwhile waiting till then
@WoodenSpoon: Thank you for the information. Hopefully Click Frenzy gets us some deals
Sorry…just checked, it was closer to $1790
I got from HN for $1800 during the eBay/Appliance Central sale.
the G series, u want at leasts a 9500g, 9000g, 8500g model which has the better processor x1 ultimate or x1…the 8000g has the 4k hdr processor… still is a good buy
What are your thoughts on the H series?
H series is new models, theres review comparisons between g and h series on youtube…. just buy whatever fits your budget..
link?
theres review comparisons
"there are review comparisons"
This compared to LG SM8600?
One is Japanese, the other is Korean.
I would also like to know the price on TGG commercial site.
Same price :(
It's $1695 on there as well. :)
& same on sony store also

Wait so this is the new RRP? Sony website prices are RRP right?
Great tv, picked one up for a bit less than 1695 about 2 weeks ago. Was the only tv with a decent processor, IPS viewing angles and Android Tv.
which one to get, 2020 65 x8000h 1695 or 2019 65 x8500g which is around 1795
Rating for both are pretty similar.

Problem is it's 60hz
I'd wait for the X900H coming some time in Aug
So if the hisense Q8 was the same price which tv would be the best choice?
Sony 8000/8500 vs hisense Q8
very low input lag, good TV monitor
