Available for $1,089 at Shopping Express, next cheapest around seems to be $1,219 at most other retailers. Cheapest I can see its been posted previous was $1070 so this is very close to lowest.
Notes
* You don't want 16 cores to open Word and yet still don't feel six is enough? Amazon have the 3900X for $686 US import (possibly $642.46 if you can get the UK import option to work).
* These chips don't come with a Cooler you need to add your own ranch sauce to cool these but once you do they are tasty, must be lunch time.
* 4000 series chips coming later in the year, so if you don't need now you may find better deals once they drop. Remember patience is a virtue not a bargain.
