25% off @ Inglewood Coffee Roasters + Free Shipping on All VIC Orders

STIMULATED

Just received my recent order from Inglewood Coffee Roasters and it included a card with a discount code for 25% off your next order. The card didn't mention any exclusions or an expiration date, so please forgive me if it has exclusions.

Its not as good as the recent 50% off promotion, but it's at least a decent chunk off the price if you're looking for coffee.

  • Still waiting on my order from the previous deal…

    • My kilo of Roosevelt arrived today with a small storage tin, located inner Melb.

Same here! First time ordering so it was a nice touch to also receive a tin. Am i supposed to store my ground coffee inside that tin or is it to store the bags themselves?

        • I have the tin it doesn't seem air tight..

      • Damn lucky my kilo of Roosevelt came in a bag that was open on one corner. There were coffee beans all around inside the parcel packaging.

    • Received today

I also received a small 250g rectangular metal storage canister with both my purchases from their recent deal.

Yeah same, that was a nice little bonus!

      • I ordered 1 lot and then did another order minutes after. I did ask them to send it in 1 postal, but it ended up coming separately.

  • Highly recommend these guy

Given VIC lockdown again could wait for a 50% deal if roasters are stuck with coffee again due from reduced cafe consumption.

I've still got plenty from the last run of coffee deals :P.

    • How do you store your beans? Freeze them? I've read conflicting information on freezing, some say it's perfectly fine while others say the moisture ruins them?

      • +1

As long as they are vacuum sealed / airtight, it's fine. Just make sure to let them thaw before opening them, otherwise you'll get condensation on the beans.

(Some people actually recommend grinding frozen - Proud Mary has a custom dispenser/grinder built into a freezer to grind frozen beans at their Portland cafe. I believe Ona Coffee may also grind frozen. You could also freeze individual doses, and grind them frozen. Just don't freeze and keep opening to access beans and putting back into the freezer, as you'll get condensation.)

  • How much alcohol does spirit of peace have please?

    • +1

I believe those are listed as tasting notes and are just a guide to the flavours that you might taste in the coffee. The beans don't actually contain liqueur.

  • Thanks for sharing. Ordered a kilo of Roosevelt

Don't bother getting this if you are up in Qld. My experience suggests Inglewood coffee are slow to process orders, and then the contractors + depot for AusPost have issues even getting items across the city and out of the state. I would cancel the order if I could. 13 days after ordering, I've now run out of coffee beans and need to go buy some from elsewhere, so I won't even be needing these beans from ingelwood when they arrive.

  • Ordered 1kg and only received 500grams…. Anyone else have similar happen?

    • They quickly sent out another package after I emailed them, no hassles.

    • I ordered 500g and only received 250g of a different bean. WTF?

  • Hi all
Does anyone use Breville BCG820BSS grinder? I am struggling with getting the grind right i.e Grind Size & grind time. I am using a 2-shot double wall basket & use Breville Dual Boiler. The coffee is too running with my current settings (Grind Size - 18 & Grind time - 15.6s), does anyone have any recommendations for the grinder settings?

Be aware that another poster reported that Inglewood's site may have recently been compromised:

Some people are starting to report fradulent charges on their card after purchasing from Inglewood on the above deal:

It's hard to know what happened or who was responsible as people are claiming their social posts were deleted:

No communication about the issue was emailed to me either (as a customer).

    Just a heads up.

Just in case this code expires, in my recent order I received code THANKYOU25 for 25% off also.

"THANK YOU! As a little thank you from the team at Inglewood Coffee Roasters, we would like to offer you a 25% discount code for your ongoing orders! To redeem, use the code 'THANKYOU25' at the checkout when you place your next order. With love, Team Inglewood xx"

  • neither codes work for the geisha coffee that was just released
    no surprises there

  • Received a previous deal today, two weeks after roast date if that's important to you. A week too late for my scheduling and use case, but I do appreciate roasters do get scared people will drink coffee too fresh and rate them poorly.
