  • RRP?

  • Finally. I've been waiting on a sub $1K deal on these for 3 months.

Just a heads up (because it will be a big deal for some people). Shipping to ACT cost me 91c, ie not free. Shipping cost was $30.91 and I only received a $30 discount. You might want to fix that.

    • Did you buy one? The website says someone in Mawson bought Segway Ninebot Kickscooter MAX G30 65km Range 58 minutes ago

      • Yes I did. Going back to the office in the next week and need it for the 3km commute. So it was perfect timing and I've spent the entire shut down waiting for a sale.

        When dropping almost $1K, a 91c extra isn't a deal breaker.

        • In my opinion, the Zero 9 is a vastly superior product to this in every aspect besides range. I've owned a M365, which the Max is based off, for just under a year now and the lack of suspension and the pain of switching tyres when they inevitably pop means I cannot recommend it.

The Zero 9 is available for 1100ish delivered from FalconPEV and even cheaper if you buy from AliExpress. I'd highly recommend buying this over the Max even if you're a novice rider.

          • @TheAccountant: Except for the main reason I wanted the max, the wider board. I have size 15 feet and they want to maximise comfort.

              @SirFlibbled: The Zero 9 deck is slightly bigger than the Ninebot Max. 20.5in X 7.7in vs 20in X 7in.

          • @TheAccountant: The Zero9 is awesome - but I really don't like the way they've done the accelerator. Massively put me off them.

            • @Hinee: Yeah I'm not a fan either. Too easy to mistake the brake and throttle and doesn't seem comfortable extending your index finger like that on long rides.

There are guides to replace it with a thumb throttle online though. Ideally, a M365 style throttle would be the best on this.

              • @TheAccountant: Funnily enough last weekend some friends bought a Zero9 & Ninebot Max and we (and another friend with a Mercane Wide dual) went for an awesome thrash on Sunday. I'm still rocking my 18 month old ES4 but am hugely keen to upgrade now but just can't seem to find the one that really works for me. I went test riding a few Zero/Dualtron's/Innokim but nothing truly took my fancy, not sure what else to focus on now.

                • @Hinee: I'm still using my OG M365 with custom firmware and Pro dashboard upgrade. I'm happy with it and it does the job but after putting over 1000km on it, I'm after something faster with dual motors and suspension.

Currently I'm stuck deciding between the 10X and Mantis Pro. I like the subtler look of the Mantis. Maybe check it out if you have some cash to splash.

Same here. Would have made the move if only it was made legal in VIC

      • What do you mean? Riding up and down the driveway for 65km sounds like great fun!

$30 shipping discount, either way whichever option you choose you’ll still be paying for shipping $4.95 or $16.59.

    • Yep, OP needs to be changed to '$30 off delivery (free for Sydney metro)" or something to that effect.

  • Thought I saw these at Costco WA

  • I bought this one last week from PC market and I was surprised to note that mine is running at max speed of 30 km per hour. Only downside is that it is bit heavy and does not have suspensions, which I think makes your ride comfortable on uneven surfaces.

  • i see everyone ride these scooters in Melbourne. Are we sure these are illegal in Victoria?
