I have the kmart one, pretty good for the price, but i gotta ask, what is so special about this one that makes it almost 5x more expensive? Lifetime warranty, more power, etc?
The Braun is 1000W and the Kmart is 600W. Not sure how much of that extra 400W is noticeable though. I'd imagine the branded one would also work smoother and last longer.
Also, all Kmart appliances are lifetime warranty ;)
Braun (i hav) … Kmart (just saw pics)
1) Made in Germany vs Made in China
2) 1000W vs 600W
3) Ergonomic push button … v easy to press with 2 fingers and more u squeeze, more power u get … Kmart seems only on/off.
4) Safety lock if slips from ur hand (once fingers r off the push button, it gets off and u need to push the top button again to get power through push button) … No safety lock apparently if it slips from ur hand.Overall braun is much better.
No disagreement that the Braun is better. If I used a stick mixer multiple times a week then I’d definitely invest in one.
Been waiting for this to come in stock for a while. Don't want to pay $10 delivery for a $29 item. My fancy one Multiquick 7 MQ745 broke.. basically slipped through my hand but I got the wire.. didn't hit the floor but still stopped working. Makes me think twice about the level of quality for these Braun products.
update once u use kmart one … u ll b having exp of both :)
Interested on the feedback too. I am waiting for the Braun multiquick 9 to go on sale.
is this the one they use on masterchef?
no, masterchef one is multiquick 9.
The 7 used to look a little different but this one looks alot like the 9.
I’ve had my Braun for 18 years now. It’s 500 Watts and I’ve lost most of the extra equipment but the immersion blender still works without any issues.
I’d buy one again in a heart beat - but I don’t need to ;)
If you're like me and don't need a fancy stick mixer set then the K-mart one might be better suited to your needs for $29 https://www.kmart.com.au/product/stick-mixer-with-chopper-se…
