    I need more info chief.

    • It is $10 flat rate payable on exit, no need to book online, no time restrictions. Doesn't matter if you stay for 5 mins or 8 hours. It will be $10 payable at the exit per day.

      • +2

if you stay for 5 mins

$10 for 5 mins seems excessive..

      • -6

Is it $10, or is it $10 plus e.g. 2% card surcharge?

Edit: The fact that the OP has not responded to this question, however has responded to other questions, indicates that there is indeed a credit card surcharge.

        • +2

Hi kerfulle, I can confirm that there is no credit card surcharge. The advertised price is all that you will pay.

    • thanks champ

    • The complex is currently being used as a mandatory quarantine/isolation facility under NSW Police guard. Not a lot of demand for car parking by the "guests" there. >_<

  • +1

    Hi

whats availability of parking like and when will this end?

    • We have over 150 bays available. Flat rate parking is here to stay in the CBD.

      • +1

I wish you guys well and this will provide much needed competition to the main car park providers (Secure and Wilson Parking).

  • Need more information, there's nothing on the website.

    • We are a new company with a soft launch into the market. Website will be up by the end of this week.

      • Thanks, when will this offer start?

        • We opened today!

          • @First-Parking: Nice! Do you have overnight parking options as well? Planning on parking from 11am Wed, exiting 11am Friday.

            • +2

@HA: Hi HA, the price will just increase by $10 per day. So for that stay it would be $30. Payable at exit by credit card when you leave on Friday.

  • -4

offering all day flat rate parking

It doesn't appear to be all day

The brochure says it's $10 per exit

    • +2

That is correct, it is $10 flat rate payable on exit, no need to book online, no time restrictions. Doesn't matter if you stay for 5 mins or 8 hours. It will be $10 payable at the exit, per exit, per day.

      Are you an auditor JV?

      • I'm not a fan of German motor vehicles.

  • +1

What are the opening hours and days of the car park?

  • +1

The car park is open 24/7.

  • +2

Is there a booking system? Wouldn't want to drive into the city only to find there are no spots available

    • To be fair, Wilson Parking also have a booking system, but it doesn't guarantee you a spot.

    • Hi, no we are not doing a booking system as you can't guarantee a spot to be available. In the near future, our website will show availability and directions. Should be ready soon.

      • -7

So is there a credit card surcharge?

Also how are you supposed to check availability when driving? What could be available 30 minutes ago would be full by the time you get there.

        • +1

No credit card surcharge! the advertised rate is exactly what you pay. No hidden costs at all.

  • +1

If I'm not wrong, the entrance and exit for this carpark is from Bathurst St, not from Pitt St
It goes underground quite deep, and the driveway is quite narrow.
Please be careful if you have big/tall car as it is quite tricky to navigate.
PS: I drive a Honda Odyssey, which has excellent turning circle

    • Yes this is correct, entrance is off Bathurst St.

  • +1

@First-Parking So where is the actual car park entrance? The current Google maps image does not show any entrance at 329 Pitt St…

    • The entrance is off Bathurst St. It is the car park entrance to Meriton Suites @ 329 Pitt St.

    • 98 Bathurst St.

    • The entrance is on the LHS of Bathurst St as you pass the George St intersection (with light rail).

      Photo here

This is about a block from my office.
And, watch out for pedestrians. πŸ˜‘

  • +1

Have you got pictures of what the car spots look like?

  • Good price.

But be warned this carpark is very HARD TO FIND. If you're in a rush make sure you've researched where it is I recall entry is from Bathurst Street but please double check..

    • That is correct, entrance is off Bathurst St with new signage being installed and gates will be left open to ensure the car park is easy to find.

  • Any monthly deals? Do motorcycles pay the same rate too?

    • At this stage we are focusing on the daily rate with what is happening. Yes, motorcycles pay the same rate.

  • For night parking and weekend parking in July, this is half the price of the OP's deal.

    • +3

For nights and weekends, we are offering $5 flat rate per exit per day!

Enter after 4pm for the flat rate of $5.

      • Can you confirm this as it's not in the ads? I'm planning to park all weekends there this July.

        • +1

I can confirm that if you enter after 4pm Mon-Fri or weekends, the rate is only $5 flat rate per exit per day.

  • If it is per exit, is there a limit on how many days you can park there?

e.g. If i enter on Monday, and then Exit Saturday morning, is it still $10?

  • +1

Is that located at a Covid hotel?

    • Meriton Suite Mascot Central also closed. Once Meriton Suite Waterloo was COVID hotel. Have no idea about the others.

    • The car park and lift is separate to the hotel and you don’t enter the hotel premises. Car Park lifts are isolated.

      • is this a recent change?
I remember I had to take the lift to the ground floor lobby, and the same lift can go to higher level floor (2 of them)

    • OP won't offer a straightforward answer, so I will.

      Yes, it is.

  • remembering paying $40 per day

    • Not anymore with First Parking!

      • 2015 sorry forgot mention year

  • -3

if i parked there this Friday night and left Sunday morning will it be $30 all up?

    • +2

Did you bother reading the comments? This is the third time this question has been asked.

    • +1

It's free in your scenario. Trust me. Don't read any other comments.

    • +1

      It will actually only be $20 ($10 - Friday, $5 - Saturday & $5 - Sunday)

  • IIRC this was a Secure Parking location before?

    • Yes this was previously a Secure Parking site.

      • Cool thanks, at least I know exactly where it is as it's a bit hidden out of site this one. Great price if you're early enough for a spot :)

  • Can you park a boat on trailer? Cannot at Meriton World Tower.

      • +1

        Figures, cheers.

    • Unfortunately it is for vehicles only.

  • +1

    awesome

  • +1

Is there a sign visible from the street indicating whether or not the car park is full?

    • +1

We are in the process of updating the external sign to accommodate this. Should be installed within the next couple of weeks.

  • Trying to get the theory for payment straight, in at 00:01 Wednesday and out at 23:59 Wednesday is $10 but out at 00:01 Thursday is $20?

    • Edit: See below

    • +1

      Charges recommence daily at 4am.

If you entered at 00:01 Wednesday and out at 23:59 Wednesday - It will be $15 ($5 for night rate until 4am then $10 day rate.

If you entered at 00:01 Wednesday and out at 00:01 Thursday - It will be $15 ($5 for night rate until 4am then $10 day rate till 4am on Thursday.

You start the rate depending on when you entered then it accumulates daily at $10 weekdays or $5 for weekends.

Had to park in the cbd today so this came in handy.

If possible, can you put clear directions where to find the entrance? Also, put down which floor the parking spots start from as there were many spots assigned for the serviced apartments.

    • You can park in any bay that is not reserved, there are no bays assigned to the hotel anymore.

Entrance to the car park is off Bathurst St.

      • How can we tell if it's very reserved?

        • The first levels have the sign 'S' on them and an A4 print-out that state these are reserved for Serviced Apartment guests.

My issue was the signs were inconsistent, some had them, some don't. I suspect some of the signs came off the wall and were never replaced. I drove much further down until I got to a level that sported none of the sign, to be sure.

Also to the OP, please have clear signage what floor the ground level is. The current signage is so small. I spent a while in the lift looking for the right floor.

          • @ddhar: There is only 2 bays in the car park that are reserved. The S on the bay does not mean anything anymore. You can park in any of these bays.

At each level of the lifts we have brand new level signage which is above the buttons for the lift. Please let me know if you have any other issues.

            • @First-Parking: "The S on the bay does not mean anything anymore. You can park in any of these bays."
Thanks for that. You should put a note on this on the OP.

"At each level of the lifts we have brand new level signage which is above the buttons for the lift."
I did find the signage eventually. It wasn't very obvious to me though (small).

What is the height restriction for the carpark? One of the guys here at work is struggling to find a carpark for his van.

    • The car park clearance is 2.1m.

  • +1

Just a tip - the lift is not working (because Meriton is closed) so don't park too far down if you don't want to walk through the drive way all the way up.

    • The car park lifts are working with no issues at all.

  • hmmm… to park here or haymarket for $13 but no stress to find entrance…

    • It's not hard, just where the big Meriton sign is on the footpath. 100 Bathurst st.

    • +1

If you put 100 Bathurst St into your GPS it will take you straight to the driveway into the Meriton car park.

    • Where do you park in Haymarket? I find driving around there stressful, but maybe that's because I don't go there often (self-perpetuating)

      • Probably Market City. Or you can park at Broadway Sydney for free for the first 2 hours (or free after 6 p.m.) and walk 15 minutes to Haymarket

  • +1

Put 100 Bathurst St into your GPS and it will bring you straight to the Meriton gates.

    • Is the gate normally closed?

      • They use to be but are now open from 6am to 8pm everyday.

        • Guess I'll be parking here tomorrow :)

        • We can't get in after 8pm? Car Park is not open 24/7?

  • +1

Car park height clearance is 2.1 meters.

  • +1

Is the 150 bays a permanent capacity, or will it be less when the hotel resumes it's use of some of them?

  • +2

    Carpark is really tight.
Only stairs, elevator located at level 10 but I wouldn't go there. Right next to the bins which I assume is where they throw the quarantine rubbish. Just take the stairs.

  • I'm thinking of heading in tomorrow (Thursday) around 10:30am - does it get full on weekdays?
