Annual subscription to Smart Investor is normally around $80. It doesn't really matter if you have nothing in your portfolio, you can just create an empty account to be eligible for the offer.

You can edit 'your details' once you have joined. There you can enter address details, however nothing really points to receiving any subscription of any mag besides the initial banner.
please anyone post if someone call you in regards getting the magazine, because i put fake mobile number :)
on the side note, i have managed fund with rabo bank, do you think this one better (ie cheaper) ?
If you have a large list of shares/transactions it is quite tedious to enter one by one. Is there a way to import the details from .csv files ?

The only thing that is required to receive the free 6 month subscription to Smart Investor magazine, is registering with InvestSMART (which is free) and creating a free portfolio manager on our site.
You will receive an email from us after the offer has closed (16 October 2011), confirming your free subscription. The first copy of the subscription should be received in approximately one month.
We do also have a regular on-going offer to all new subscribers that if they join our TrailCap program in the next month they also receive a 6 month subscription to the Smart Investor magazine, this would be in addition to the portfolio manager promotion.

Confirming that I received an email on 18th Oct informing of the free 6 months subscription. I am unable to remove my earlier comment and hence replying to it instead.

Thank you for your email. You do not need to do anything else once you have set a portfolio in your ‘Portfolio Manager’. We will collate a list of all new clients who have done this at the expiry of the offer and start sending out the 6 month subscriptions then. You should hopefully start to receive your magazine sometime in November.
