Aldi $50 ones are more appealing to me.
They have 90% down and 10% feather.

    • These look great!!! Thanks for sharing! Now only if i can be lucky enough to get one on the day!

    • Any experience with these? They look decent enough (better than those in this deal), how warm are they? I've challenged myself to not use a heater this winter (don't even own one) but some days have been a challenge - I work from home so I'm home a lot.

I don't care about the waterproof aspect, just how warm it is.

      • I have experience with both and loft may be the same (800) but aldi has more fill weight (grams of feathers). Aldi is definitely warmer and much better value than decathlon. The decathlon jacket should be categorised in the ultralight category more than the aldi one.

  • looks to be the same loft power (800 cubic inch) for both jackets despite the aldi being ultralight. both polyamide shell - decatholon claims surface treated to make more water resistant but aldi also claims water 'repellent' shell. $75 + delivery or free pickup vs the aldi lottery (more and more a lottery it seems these days). Both good options by the look of it.

    • I reckon if you’re in Coofbourne Melbourne it’s better to avoid the “aldi lottery” and go with the decathlon.

Additionally, in my experience with other Aldi clothes they’re better suited to short dumpy people. The sleeves seem too short, or if sizing up the body is too wide.

  • I just bought this on the w/e too. Don't know how this compares to either? https://www.kathmandu.com.au/campaigns/winter-sale/heli-mns-…

    Any comments?

Oh wow the blue one hurts my eyes

OP you may want to add that these are 800 fill power, compared to:
    Kathmandu Heli - 600
    Uniqlo ULD - 650
    Macpac Uber - 650
