Longmorn Distillery Speyside has a long tradition of creating premium single malt which goes on to be blended into whiskies produced by Chivas Brothers.
The Distillers Choice is the non-age statement release, however it has been aged in three different barrels. the first two of these first-fill American white oak, and American oak hogsheads, with the third being ex-sherry casks. It’s an exceptionally balanced, elegant single malt that’s smooth and creamy with subtle spice and sweet flavours. With a distinctive leather base makes for impressive gift..
My last FCL online order took 19 days to be delivered (Im in Melbourne , not the moon)so they arent my First Choice. They have no twitter presence, facebook page deletes any comment calling them outand says they will email you (but dont) , phone lines dont pick up and customer service emails never once explained why my order took nearly three weeks. /rant
I'd wander in to Dans and get them to price match if you arent too worried about the points.
