Personally for me, I don’t think so. However, some things to weigh up…
The knives in this set are the minimum “standard” of quality my extended family has available to them.
Out of the knives in this set I would find myself using the chefs knife, bread knife, and the smaller chefs knife or utility knife for paring.
This would mean I’m paying for 3 knives I’d probably never use, bringing the average value for me at $80 per knife, which I could buy better quality knives.
However for 95% of you home cooks, this would be fine. Having extra knives might be useful if you have friends or family to cook together with.
actually $339-101.70. If im not a stupid idiot
Delivery varies. Mine shows $12 in Melbourne.
Hanging out for one of the shun deals. Damn missed that last time.
buy these and then buy the next shun deal
I would shun this deal
Are these the same knives in the Ikasu set?

Anyone know how these compare to Ikasu set, are they the same knives just different blocks?
Yes, it's the same set. There is also a set in a wooden block that's slightly cheaper.
Is it worth $240??
