Good find, I did also notice it's going for $7.23 on the Steam store if anyone has issues with purchasing from a third party.

This site is not an authorised reseller and there is a risk you will receive stolen and invalid keys.

        • I didn't down-vote you, I know it's a legit concern with some resellers, but I've had only positive experiences with Eneba. I've used this site quite a few times. I only had an issue once, and their support staff were actually very helpful in resolving.

I just bought it for a friend and she activated it just fine.
You can always use a VPN for activation. Using a VPN to buy is not fine though.

  • Lol this game just wasnt for me (prefer dirt rally) but for $3 its good value.

  • Just purchased the new game too

  • This is as good as it gets for single player hot laps. I've never played it multiplayer and haven't tried the career mode so can't comment on those. But the awesome physics and insane amount of modded content (some of it amazing quality, others not so much) make this the best sim for single player or hot seat. Make sure to get content manager to replace the game's average UI.

    • I just stumbled across the V8 Supercars mod for this, any first hand experience with it? Will probably just buy it given how cheap it is to give it a whirl.

      • Supercars is one of the well done mods. So awesome with the Bathurst & Barbagallo tracks (2 more great mods).

        • Thanks for the response man makes me excited! I've got a G920 sitting away in it's box, was going to set it up for a bit of Xbox action with Forza, but I have a gaming PC on the way too so I think I'll get more action out of that after I stumbled across the V8 Mods. Possibly since I can apparently buy a sequential shifter separately too that'll work with the G920 on PC as opposed to Xbox I don't think I can get one other than the H Shifter from Logitech

    • Have you played RFactor 2? What you have said above almost mirrors what I would say for RF2 as well. Also have you played Competizione?

      • I only briefly played Rfactor2 and didnt like it so refunded it. I will absolutely admit that i didnt give it a fair chance, and its high on my list of games to get and give another shot. Rfactor2 has a terrible UI and slow load times and I dont think it has a third party option like Content Manager for Assetto to fix the issues. But yeh, I know that i need to give it another shot.

I just recently bought Competizione so dont have much experience with it. It is obviously far more limited in content than RF2 or the original AC, but if you wanna drive GT3 cars, its probably one of the best options. The driving physics / FFB seem to be absolute top notch right out the box, and it certainly looks nice. It is far more taxing on my pc than the older games tho, and the 1080Ti in my racing rig struggles to run the 10320x1440 res with triple monitors.

I bought ACC for multiplayer, but havent tried it yet, im hoping itll be an alternative to iracing (its just scary how quickly you can spend $$$ in that game)

        • Oh yeah RF2 definitely has that. Mod Manager. I loved it on RF1 and its even better on RF2. It can organise and auto download mods etc. Haven't used it for a couple of years though as I took a break from sim racing.

Yeah I agree the physics in ACC are as good as any of the RF2 mods, but I find the small selection of cars and tracks a bit boring. I got Project Cars 2 recently and have had a lot of fun with all the different types of cars and tracks online. But I was thinking of getting AC for the same experience/content as RF2 but on a more modern platform without it being too taxing, as I am on 2-3 year old hardware.

          • @Hazza: Well, RF2 is on sale on Steam, I guess i better just grab it. Will i need to get all the DLC in order to play with user mods? Or can i just get the base game and play around for a bit and purchase DLC later?

            • @DanielP2: I actually don't have the DLC's as I started with the base game and with a few mods that was enough. But if you enjoy AC and there isn't a mod you specifically want to play on RF2 its probably excess to your needs. I'm also not sure how active the online community is these days as its a pretty old game now.

  • Just bought the Ultimate Edition for $14

  • Has anyone used this link to purchase and activate? Says it cannot be used in AUS

    • I haven't tried. I usually wouldn't if it says it doesn't activate here.

It's only $7 on Steam at the moment. I'd buy it there. Game is easily worth much much more the amount I've played it since buying it. Best out of all the sims I got (and I got most of them lol)
