Thanks for the deal, guys you can further beat this offer from MYCAR (Formally known as KMART Auto Tyres).

    • Even with a voucher?

    • Only if they have the tyres in stock and the discount is like $5-$20 plus installation costs.

I normally either go Bridgestone Select when they have a buy 3 get 4th free or Costco.

    • How many percent MYCAR will do the price beat?

      • They'll beat the final price by a solitary dollar. Petty.

Forgot to try them last time. Had no luck with my local Bob Jane. They were only comparing the listed prices for the tyres but refused to match the 15% voucher.

  • I choose the free shipping tyres on tyroola, but when I put it into cart, there is shipping cost.
Maybe I missing something? Or they really charge for the shipping fee.
    Cheers

    • I might be wrong but I think they meant free shipping to fitting centres (after you agree to pay for the fitting). If you want them to your home address then there is shipping cost involved.

    • Previously some tyres had the free shipping plus free fitting which could be used for tyre price matching.
Could not find any in my car tyre size this time

    • Shipping is only free to metro areas

  • With this coupon the Goodyear efficientgrip tyres are very well priced at least at the size I need (205/55/r16). Unfortunate fitting and balancing is expensive but still comes in much better than other quotes

    • Just get it shipped and fit it elsewhere cheap

I bought 2 tyres through Tyroola and thought it was a great deal but when I went to the fitting station I nominated It worked out cheaper if went direct to the tyre store. I bought another 2 of the same tyres last week and saved close on a $100 going direct to the fitting station / retailer.

I noticed this too for a large portion of the tyres you need to be very careful on adding all the costs up. Initially the cost seemes great even without the discount code but quickly came out very average. If it wasn't for the additional 15% off I don't think I would have gone with Tyroola

I did something similar last time as well. There was a specific tyre I was after, but it was out of stock almost everywhere. I used tyroola to figure out which stores had it in stock, then just called that store directly.
It appeared to be cheaper than buying it through tyroola too

If someone is in the market like me, have a look at at tyresales.com.au as well. The upfront tyre price might look same/slightly higher than Tyroola, fitting and balancing is included in that price (if you are lucky the fitter might also have free alignment/car clean thrown in - the website does tell you the fitter special offers)

  • Literally just got 2 tyres put on my ZX6R on Friday. :'(

  • Where do you put the code?

  • Anyone else looking for tyres? Happy to pool with 2 others to get the 50% mates rates.

    • How does this work? Looking at the website you need yourself and three others.. and it's unclear but it looks like only the first person gets the discount. Also, unsure if this would stack with the 15% off

      • I thought all 3 get 50%?

        • +2

I don't think so, but I sent them an email to clarify. From my understanding it's like a pyramid scheme - 3 of your friends buy tyres and you get 50% off. For them to get 50% off, they'd need to refer another 3 friends.. and so on. If that's the case, it's fairly unachievable for more than one person and a garbage scheme to suck people in.

          • +1

@93vector: Confirmed - only the first person gets 50% off.

            • +1

@93vector: Hmmm ok thanks for the clarification. Who in their right mind would agree to that!? Unless there is an equitable way to split?

    • I need 4 tyres !

The code also works on the supercheap website. I was planning on using it with cashback, however it doesn't look like cashrewards or shopback offer SCA cashback anymore.

    • affiliated seems like.. same website. Unless can we pay with a super cheap giftcard online or instore?

      • Doesn't look like you can. That's why I was banking on cash back.

  • Always good to use these offers for Mycar price beat. They only beat the price by $1 But was after a set of Kumhos which retail for $255 EA at Mycar but with this discount was able to get them at $190.25 EA. Not too bad. Plus mycar offer their tyre care package plus high mileage warranties with the purchase of a set of 4 tyres.

    • Good to know. Do they only beat brands that both MyCar and Tyroola stock?

      • Yes. They would have to be in stock at Mycar so they can beat them.

Had 4x Winrun R330 fitted a month ago from last deal. Very happy, great tyre so far. Big shops were twice the price on there budget range.

    • Which car did you fit these on if you dont mind me asking? Ive heard mixed reviews on these. Some say great, others say terrible in the wet? Its also very subjective.

Im in the market for new tyres for the territory. So far leaning towards OEM Forterra for about $150 each but the R330 can be had for $80 I think….

      • Fitted to a FG Falcon. Were great in the wet no issues. Had mid range Nankangs on before and they sucked. Very noisey.

    • Winruns not great on my car.
