yeah i thought it would have been posted but when i searched i couldn't find it here. so thought might as well.. glad 25+ sold more since i posted here.. most ozbargainers would have bought earlier though :)

    • did not bother buying*

i also saw it earlier, would love to share, but then i change my mind because i noticed that big W has 110 pack = $19 (classic version), equates to 17 cents each (from the previous ozbargain post)

but the ebay ones are quantum, like quantum computers yo!

      • How different to people find they are?

  • I've had it with finish tablets, switched to Earth's choice and will never go back.

    • finished with finish

    • Care to elaborate on reasons?

      • +1

For me, it's simple. Earths choice is Australian (privately) owned and produced, Finish is not.

      • I bought so many different varieties of finish tablets. They all did the same thing, dishes weren't clean and residue from the tablet was left all over the dishes like it was dissolving after 2 hours of dish washing. Earth's choice has been faultless in comparison.

    • Earth's choice was the highest scored one on choice review. I'd be interested to hear about why you switched.

    • Is it really good? I used to use fairy, but apparently they're pretty bad for the environment so looking to move to earth choice.

      Good performance?

I wouldn't read too much into the name. They're all much for muchness, mostly sodium carbonate and sodium percarbonate with the remainder mostly non-ionic surfactants. A few years back a few of them were high in phosphates which can be bad for the environment but these have been phased out across the board.

I've tried the Aldi ones (which gave crap washing results), the fairy ones (makes my dishes smell like a chemical factory). I've returned to Finish in both instances, although I've not tried Earth choice so far. How well does it compare to Finish in terms of cleaning the dishes, and NOT leaving a nasty smell?

    • I used earth choice sourced from woolworths. Also from Red Dot (I think). The boxes were identical but the Red Dot ones had green tops. The woolworths ones if I recall correctly were blue.

The green ones looked old. They were awful. Often didn't break up. Which is a shame, because they were on clearance for about half of the SALE price that woolies charged. I was going to make an ozb post until I found out they seemed inferior.

Haven't tried them again. Mostly because snagging them on sale at woolies hasn't happened. But I'm also hesitant.

The pricing on Finish tablets is taking the piss.

Will try Earth Choice tablets after our current one finish.

  • Thanks. Good price.

  • Thanks OP. Got one

Hmm … Amazon cheaper before and don't need it now.

  • just tried ordering it and got below error. Out of stock
The seller doesn't have that many left.

    • definetly sold out now. they have sold 100+ since original post.

  • Isn't it cheaper at other places? eg. Big W $19 for 110 = 17.3 cents each.

Edit. Sorry i noticed that these are "Quantum", that's the difference.

    • yeah apprantly they have computing power :D

    • +1

These are all individually wrapped, a bit more of a hassle and dont work as well for me + more land fill

  • Nice find OP! been waiting for a circa 20 cent price for a while now :)

Last week I switched to the Woolworths select brand just to see if any difference to using classic finish tablets ,

I can confirm I get the same clean dishes using the woolies brand and they work out 11c per tab! $12 for 100pk just food for thought

  • I used Aldi ones on 3 washes, very dirty dishes every time. 27 tablets into the bin making it $1.43 a tablet for terrible result. Where do I hand in my OzB membership?

      Finance desk at Harvey Norman?

  • Just wondering did you guys wash out a bit of dirt first before you put into the dishwasher?
