  • Don't expect this to be the world's greatest GPS unit, but still good value at $159.

  • seems alright

  • Secure Connection Failed
shop.1wow.com.au uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

Received the same error from my work connection as well.

    • Which browser are you using? They are using an Extended Validation Certificate (ie more expensive than your normal $20/year SSL cert) from VeriSign. Works fine for me.

    • Firefox?

they use the verisign EV "green bar" cerficiate on this one…

I think an upgrade to firefox does it also.

more and more sites are starting to do it (mine did it at first with graysonline, so I found that which sorted it out)

look at the image for the site on ozbargain… same problem :)

      • Looks like the problem is some Firefox 3 installs do not have VeriSign Class 3 Extended Validation CAs. My FF 3 on Windows has it, but not on my Linux install (which is the one producing all the screenshots here). Once I installed those certs everything is fine now.

  • Sorry to sound negative, but COTD minifish got branded GPS (Mio c220 with sirf 3 receiver/latest maps/Active sync compatible and you know what can be added with that) for 179$ + Shipping (NSW 13$, Victoria 10$, other cities 15$) - http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?products_…

  • Hi mawinmawin … what can be added with that? :)

    • Yes, do tell…

      • you can add many region's map from net, hacks available.

  • If buying a GPS, make sure you buy winCE 5.0, otherwise you will not be able to add in GPS software such as TomTom, Garmin etc…
If anyone needs help installing decent software onto a generic gps, contact me via PM.
