Love that this is happening more frequently. I purchased close to a year's worth of Bonsoy the last time it was on special.

Also, If anyone in Brisbane is after the Bonsoy Almond milk, Logan Discount Supermarket Warehouse has it for $1.49/L - expiry date is 30/09/20

    • It’s about $1.40 at Jacks in Perth. Exp 10/20. Almond. I did not look for soy.

Love that this is happening more frequently.

I guess it's due to the competition from the new, fantastic oat milks.

      • +1

Some of the oat milks are outstanding atm.

        • Yep.

          2018 "Bonsoy please."

2020 "Bonsoy? Pfft - Oatly please."

Also, Sanitarium Barista Oat is great. Surprising the makers of So Good Bad got it so right.

I love Bonsoy soy milk for its taste and I am sure I will be trying the aLmond milk soon, but that ingredient list does not look great, sugar and less than 3% almond

    • +1

I agree re: ingredient listing, Bonsoy came late to the Almond milk party so one can assume they are trying to claw back some of the Almond milk market.

I purchased a couple litres of Almond milk to try because I am a big fan of Bonsoy but it left me disappointed taste-wise.

It froths up really well but I only have this with my Chai Lattes. For coffee, I prefer the soy Bonsoy.

  • Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between this and Woolworths Macro Organic range? The price is more than double that of say Macro Organic soy milk at Woolies. I have tried both and didn't think there was much difference so I really want to know.

    • +1

If you’ve tried both and think they’re similar then go with the cheaper one?

I have also and I disagree tho - Bonsoy ftw

    • In my opinion 2 big differences, 1st is taste, Bonsoy has a far superior taste in terms of frothing and using in coffee, it is widely accepted that BONsoy is the premium soy milk for cafes etc (In saying this at the end of the day this is just opinion)
The organic macro soy milk is far better in terms of ingredient quality I would much rather use this in a smoothie.
My personal favourite to use in a smoothie of for anything (Including coffee at home) is the 10% activated almond milk you can get at both coles and wollies

      • Ok cool. Just wanted to make sure.

      • I found the So Good almond milk has solidified bits when heats up, is that the same for this brand ?
I use the Aldi's organic soy milk for coffee, the ingredient content is close if not same as So Good but half the price.

      • +1

Which brand is the activated almond milk

  • +1

Since their almond is only 2.65%, isn't Pure Harvest better than this, since it has 10% almond, and specially when it's discounted to half price?

I was dissapointed when I checked the ingredients-for those looking to Almond Milk as low carb /Keto.
    Check the ingredients -
    Bonsoy Almond Milk(woolworths.com.au)
Ingredients: Filtered water, Tapioca Syrup, Roasted Almond Paste (2.65%), Sunflower oil, Sunflower lecithin, Sea salt, Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking soda), Gellan Gum

Stay clear of this - massively high in carbs and sugars - not to mention sunflower oil.

    • It is a bit of a food science product, but, perfect for those wanting a creamy soy latte!
There are probably simpler and cheaper products out there for your requirements.

  • I usually only buy 1 or 2 at regular price, was pleasantly surprised this morning, needless to say bought quite a few.
