This multiplayer map pack (available post launch for free to Limited Edition customers) will include 4 of the most popular multiplayer maps from Battlefield 2, re-imagined and re-built using the fantastic Frostbite 2 engine. This is a huge request from fans of Battlefield 2 and DICE have answered with Back to Karkand.

In Battlefield 3, players step into the role of the elite U.S. Marines. The experience doesn’t stop with the engine – it just starts there. In single-player, multiplayer and co-op, Battlefield 3 is a near-future war game depicting international conflicts spanning land, sea and air. Players are dropped into the heart of the combat whether it occurs on dense city streets where they must fight in close quarters or in wide open rural locations that require long range tactics.

Features:

Frostbite 2 - Battlefield 3 introduces Frostbite 2, the incredible technology that takes animation, destruction, lighting, scale and audio to new heights. Built upon this powerful game engine, Battlefield 3 immerses players physically and emotionally to the world around them like never before.

Unparalleled Vehicle Warfare - The best online vehicle warfare experience gets even better with a fitting sonic boom as fighter jets headline an impressive lineup of land, air and sea vehicles. Other returning fan favourite features include 64 players for PC and prone.

these "you know descriptions" are getting to be as tedious as the "first post, be nice" posts….

    • That what you're after? Don't think that's anymore than a wall of text and I don't see any need to start a discussion.

      • not really, its just that I see it catching on, and thats not a good thing.

  • How much is it at ozgameshop? I can't get on it at work.

  • Anyone bought from here before? Game keys legit? Access to Aus servers? Sorry, Battlefield noob here.

    • +2

Bought a number of games from Greenman Gaming, most notably Dues Ex: HR so they're legit (more so than CDkeysites).

BF3 isn't region locked so you can play on any server.

    • +1

Yes, I have. Greenman Gaming is 100% legit, and if they say so then the keys can definitely be activated on Steam/Origin. No idea about region locks, and unfortunately the 15% off coupon from yesterday doesn't work for this title…

      • So how sure are you that these keys can be used in origin? Do you have experience purchasing and activating through origin before? Can anyone comment on this if they have done this. Thanks

        • +1

They will be releasing the keys on the BF3 release date.

However I have also bought deus ex from them and it activated perfectly on steam.

        • Yeah, I can't make any promises about Origin because AFAIK this is the only game they've got that will use Origin.

As with hybir, I have also bought deus ex and other games from them and activated on steam.

I believe its not worth it ordering from the UK… I have tried theHut and its been over 30 days and still havent received my first shipment. Just a waste of time. I can see that the prices of the games have droped locally. Which is great

    • +1

This isn't a boxed copy being shipped. They email you the CD Key:

"Please note that free third party service, Origin, will be required to play Battlefield 3. This is a PRE-ORDER, keys will be sent via email and the "My Games" section of the website on the release day. Please read our Refund Policy for information on pre-order refunds."

    Much cheaper here $34.50:

    http://www.cdkeyport.com/battlefield-3-LE-cd-key.html

Green Man Gaming is CD-Key only aswell

    • +1

But Greenman Gaming is a legit CD Key - not from Russia or anything that might get your account banned.

      • Exactly. The cheapest legitimate I found up until now that included Back to Karkand was GamersGate.co.uk, but GMG is a bit cheaper again.

Have used GMG before and can recommend.

        • CDKeyPort is legit aswell many people here have bought from them and had no complaints

    • 'sour grapes' negging…..
excellent…. benefits the community so much….

    • +3

Except that the coupon that you posted it under won't work for BF3, meaning your post was kind of irrelevant to that deal.

    • Sorry, can't say I read every comment, but I did use the search.

  • Cancelled my Zavvi order, I'll want this on release so I've preorderd from HN for $67. (PC) Beat DSE's price.
