Since you like sticking to the rules, why not try reading them?

If we started dropping deals that weren't active yet due to TIME, then we would miss out on a lot of good loot…
I have some sympathy in that the X amount of people rule is pretty stupid too - for example if you need 20 people to accept, the deal just started and its clearly a bargain, it should be allowed to stay on. There should be some room for subjective decision making on whether a posted bargain is allowed or not.
These days when you post a bargain you get 10 people (most of whom haven't ever posted a decent bargain themselves) telling you why it is an invalid post and should be removed…
Feel free to discuss that in the Feedback forum. That rule was in place to safe-guard against store reps from those small group buy sites posting crappy deals that might never get activated. I like flexibility, but sometimes it is just easier to have rules set out.

I'm wondering about buying this or the 3DS. For another ~$60 (when it may come on special again), I get the newest handheld console on the market. Opinions?
DSi XL will look better than the 3DS playing original DS games, but obviously can't play all the new games coming out.
Interesting. But the DSi XL is still retailing at the same level as the 3DS. Around $250 thanks to the 3DS price drop. Anyway, I ended up not buying the DSi. Probably going to wait for another bargain on the 3DS. :)

I usually miss out on deals like this (PS3 & 3DS from catchoftheday last week), so I was supprised when I managed to get two, but I suppose the deal is not that great as these are 2 generations old. I do have twins and it happens to be their birthday today, so yes, I wanted to explain that I didn't get two in order to resell, but for my kids to use.
good stuff, some people on here dont like it when they see people posting they got multiple items, you see in many threads people posting "thanks grabbed 2, or 3" and there comment in -2 or something
