Not part of a huge deal or anything but a decent price imho, given the HERO 16K Sensor, six programmable side buttons and the ability to free-wheel the scroll wheel.

This trend of mice that fall away towards the right click drive me crazy. My palm collapses on that side and I end up with an atrocious grip.
I suggest the Coolermaster mm710 or Steelseries Rival 3. I own both and im happy with them. Almost half the price and the sensor should perform just as well as this Logitech. I'm done with Logitech, I've owned many of their expensive mice and almost all have developed issues after 2-3 years.

Probably something to do ergonomics. Having your hand in a hand shake position has been proven to alleviate RSI related injuries and hence and move in that direction probably helps in that vain.
The ability to switch between Bluetooth and wireless is really useful feature in my G603, looks like the G604 has the same feature. Not sure if I’m a fan of the new shape though
Yep, super handy, I've had the g602 and g603 as my daily driver for work for the last 6 years.
It's super handy to change out AA batteries and use Bluetooth if the situation arises.
Not to mention new mouses still don't have usb-c receivers so for those with laptops without usb-a, bt provides an avenue.
