CamelCamelCamel alerted me to the huge price drop on this item, which is due to it being added to Amazon’s Mid Year Sale.

“Withings Sleep offers sleep cycles analysis (deep, light and REM), heart rate tracking and snore detection. Easy one-time setup and automatic sync to the Health Mate app via Wi-Fi. Also features IFTTT integration for scenarios such as dimming lights when you go to bed or turning up your thermostat when you get up. Sleep provides an in-depth look at your nights by monitoring sleep cycles, tracking heart rate and detecting snoring. Easy one-time setup under the mattress makes Sleep fit seamlessly into your life. Plus with automatic sync via Wi-Fi, there’s nothing you need to do but sleep and then wake to find all data in the app.”

Have used Withing’s products myself for well over a decade, and have always found them to be a reliable tool in tracking health information; and their integrations with all the usual health apps/platforms mean all your useful data can be in one place.

Do Ozbargainers sleep? I thought we just drink coffee and alcohol that's on sale.

Sleeping implies that you may miss a deal, and therefore is not the way.

      • Can you set a IFTTT to get this to wake you when a new deal is posted?

we just drink coffee and alcohol that's on sale

Used to be Eneloops and Breville Grinders.

    • Maybe you can program the mat that it vibrates when new deal gets posted. Depending on the votes the vibration gets stronger. So you can't miss a deal. But not really sure if this is a feature ;-)

      • Maybe rig it up one of them massage guns that seem to get posted and have many inappropriate comments?

  • If detects and tracks snoring. What about fart tracking? Would be handy if it can measure pungency. Pair that with MyFitnessPal and one can correlate with meals.

Might be worth noting this is the older model. A new model with sleep apnea detection was launched at the end of April.

Can also get JB to price match if you have some gift cards you need to use.

  • Does this work with a memory foam mattress on a slated bed frame?

    • Info taken from https://support.withings.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006502278-…

Which type of mattress can I use with Sleep / Sleep Analyzer?

Sleep / Sleep Analyzer can be used with all brands of mattresses. It is compatible with a wide variety of mattresses including spring, latex, foam, and memory foam. You can place the Sleep / Sleep Analyzer sensor directly under the mattress (between the mattress and the bed platform or box spring). Sleep / Sleep Analyzer can also be used with a slatted frame. In this case, you may need to place a flat, sturdy object (like a cardboard, for example) between the frame and the sensor.

You can also place Sleep / Sleep Analyzer between your mattress and mattress topper or pad. If you feel the device when lying in your bed, you can place it between the mattress and the bed frame.

Note that Sleep / Sleep Analyzer has been tested with a mattress thickness of 4 to 15 inches (10 to 40 cm). However, the sensor has not been tested with, and is not recommended for use with waterbeds and airbeds.

  • Can it measure my "stamina"?

    • No, but it might measure your PP if you lay on it the right way.

      • Pewdiepie can measure that as well. Floor gang!

Do this work in a shared bed? I wouldn't want the data messed up by my partner.

Price now $134. Waiting saved me $119.

  • Let me sleep on it…

  • I would prefer the 2020 version somehow…if the price is reasonable.

  • It's certainly bulkier than a sleep tracking smartwatch, but is it better?
