Donna Hay Magazine has just launched their iPad app, and it looks like you can download the latest October issue from iTunes for free.
This coincides with the magazine's 10th anniversary.
Disclaimer: I haven't got an iPad to test this out.

Note that this is the app only, you'll need to download the magazine separately (for free) once inside the app (similar to other apps of same type). The download is quite slow while app is in foreground, and slow to a grind if in background. So be patient and leave it for an hour if possible. You can start reading the mag even when it's downloading though.
My issue downloaded in less than a minute. Maybe you tried at a busy time?
I subscribe to the magazine, and have been looking forward to the ipad version. Quite disappointed to be honest. Unless I'm missing something, the magazine doesnt rotate into portrait mode, which is a major pain in the ass. It also means that you cant use the smart cover as a stand if trying to follow a recipe.
Think I'll be sticking to my magazine subscription, and importing recipes I use into paprika recipe manager.
Sorry to hear that. Perhaps they are offering the first issue free while they iron out the issues. I'm sure they would appreciate your feedback…
who is Donna Hay anyways, she the one that comes on Masterchef as a guest judge?
Yes she has been on Masterchef as a guest judge. She's quite famous for her cookbooks and magazines.

Well funkigreendog-mine works well in portrait mode although landscape doesn't work ;) Hell, it's free and it works- so thanks moocher .
Yep..re-read what I wrote, and meant landscape!! It works in portrait but not landscape!
Wasn't suggesting it wasn't a good deal (as there are some great recipes), more just frustrated with where its at, as I was hoping to replace the countless magazines with the 1 app!
