    The base is plastic, not saying it will necessarily break but it's just another thing they cut cost's on and added another protentional failure point.
    
    The tilt mechanism on this is the generic kind found on standard office chairs that are extremely weak and not solid at all.

    The left one is found on more expensive "Gaming" chairs which are much more solid and will last.
    
    I know from experience of owning chair's with both kinds of tilt mechanisms to avoid at all cost's the one on this cheap chair as they are of poor quality.

    These chairs are good for a few weeks but they are not great long term chairs, poor ergonomics and the materials won't last two summers.
    
    Good for temporary use, awful for long term use.

      You could be relocating it to the northern hemisphere in late November and pick it up in March, then use it. Every year.
      You could set a reminder before the second summer hits.

I bought a black office chair from banggood referred from here last year. Different style chair but exact same footrest. It barely extends out to your knees and with my 65kg It would likely break under my ckicken leg's within a week. The base of the seat cushion is made out of really thin and flexible card type material to which the footrest is just screwed to. When you put weight down with your upper legs it all flexes. Same when you shift your weight in the chair it flexes and creaks. Clearly it has no foot rest unless your 5 years old. Maybe the base of the seat has been reinforced for this chair so at least you can sit on it…lol

  Better warranty fall-back and change of mind options.

How long do you warrant the PU lasting?

Do you guarantee refund from warranty claim with (A) requiring only photos, ie: the product need not be returned, and (B) no excuses like "you bought it from elsewhere!". That excuse is the most unreasonable crap I have ever heard from a shop, ever.

Received yesterday. Surprisingly quite weighty. Looks a bit bling - I got the blue one. Not bad construction , the PU is probably the weak point , but all screws and bolt holes seem sturdy. Castors are probably a little better than ok - they look strong enough. Better than other $100 chairs I've been looking @
