Need Help with a Second Monitor

Hi there,

I'm currently using an Asus PG279Q monitor as my main monitor and I'm trying to find a decent enough second monitor to add on to my setup. I'm looking for a 27' monitor to match the other one.

27'
1440p or 1080p
IPS
~100hz
My current budget around 300$ capped out at 400$(maybe), I've been looking at the AOC 27G2 and the ViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD that fit in my budget but I need help with picking one that fit as a second monitor, cheers. Sorry for the long text.

    Since they want something that matches with no budget in mind, then I recommend the Asus PG279Q. Ticks all their boxes… Case closed!

      i got a pg279q already and my budget cap out i'd say around 300$

    yeah i was gonna go for this one but seeing that it was on sale, i might see if the price drop again since it was a pretty big price up

    Just wondering why you want >100Hz - surely any gaming you do would be on the primary monitor? Your options for resolution/image quality open up a lot more at the same budget if you're okay with 60Hz.

      I actually don't mind if it's not 100hz but I heard some people say it could mess up my main monitor refresh rate
