  • *This offer applies to installations in SE Qld only. Installations in other regions in QLD will incur additional charges.

*Pricing is applicable for conventional tin roof installation. Tiled roofs will cost extra.

    • Yes, racking/mounting for tiled roofs does cost more. We'll provide a comprehensive proposal and assessment for each enquiry. Including any required changes to pricing for tiled roofs or installations outside of South East Qld etc.

  • Is it just me or does over 6kw of panels need more than a 5kw inverter? I have 3kw worth of panels with a 3.5kw inverter. I thought the inverter was supposed to be at least equal to or more than the panels hooked up to it?

    • +1

no. panels should be alot larger than inverter as panels aren't 100% efficient (yet are advertised as if they were).

    • +1

Panel oversizing is recommended…to accommodate panel and other inefficiencies such as heat loss etc. Clean Energy Council regulations allow for consistent AC power at no less than 75% of panel array….or panel array x 1.33 recurring of the inverter output.

  • no can oversize by up to 33 percent

    • I swear I have seen mine at around 2800w in the peak of summer at midday so wouldn't this overload the inverter when they are most efficient?

      • The inverter will clip.

  • Can this inverter be setup to heat hot water system before export?

    • That's always the case, solar will be used for consumption first, any excess will be sold back to the grid

    • Yes, potentially. Please DM me and we'll contact you to discuss your options.

  • How much to pay for it upfront?

    • With interest rates so low, probably $3432 ($66 x 52).

      • Yes, $3,432.

  • How much surface area do you need for these panels?

    • Ballpark 33m2 or just a bit more. Depends on the roof and the ultimate design. If you can send me your address via direct message, we can provide you with an idea of what the installation will look like.

  • Are these panels physically bigger than others that are 300-330w, is that how they get 370w?

    • +1

Yes, marginally. These are 1840×998. Jinko 330w for example is 1684×1002.
