    To all the people living in Melbourne, I recommend checking out this place in the CBD:

    https://www.zomato.com/melbourne/pho-thin-cbd
    https://www.goodfood.com.au/eat-out/just-open/hanois-pho-thi…

    For context, my background is Vietnamese so I've had my fair share of pho around Melbourne and Vietnam. This place has a very unique broth and worth the visit.

    I'm also curious on other people's opinions on this place.

      Have you tried Hart and Soul Pho in a pouch from the supermarket?

      Just wondering what your thoughts are, given it's a packaged product. I think it's pretty good personally.

      • Unfortunately I haven't, but I'm going on my weekly grocery run tomorrow at Woolworths so I'll check it out.

        Thanks for the recommendation

      How is it a unique broth? It’s either a pho broth or it’s not.

        @skywards

        It's like saying ramen broth is all the same.

        There's variations on how people make the broth.

        You can read the comments I've linked from zomato, I'm not the only one that shares this opinion

        Quite nice to get an authentic (North) Vietnamese recommendation. With my Vietnamese background, I’m getting pretty tired of all this Viet fusion bullshit that’s all over Melbourne.

      I'm from Sydney but my go-to pho in Melbourne is pho chu the in Footscray. What are your thoughts?

      • If you have a chance, try Pho Hung Vuong in Springvale or Pho Kha Trân in Bayswater, both in Melbourne !

  • Thanks OP

    Thanks OP! I have been looking Pho such a book like this and collecting them all. There are so many Pho broth recipes out there they may be different from each other but one thing in common that it always takes lot of efforts and time to cook the broth. Because you work hard to cook and wait for so long to get the meal ready so you would be starving when it is ready. Everything is so good when you are hungry that the key of Pho broth success. You will enjoy it for sure

    • FYI it's not pronounced "foe"
