Pinot has a 6 bottle minimum it would seem. Great value for a very good pinot despite that.
i was about to bitch about a 6 bottle min. ill cope if it is for the pinot only
chardonnay not available for pickup at my local stores either
My local (Alphington) only has 2017 pinot noir, but 2018 in the rest. Will keep checking back.
Same local for me. What vintage you recommend?
They are all good to be honest. 2018 pinot may be rated slightly higher.
Anyone know where Shipsmart has gone? Have Dan's stopped offering this yearly unlimited delivery offer? Shame as this is probably the sole reason I spend so much there…!
The Riesling is on Halliday's top wines of 2019. Not my usual style but will cellar a few:
"98 Points. Seppelt came close to abandoning this vineyard in Henty 30 or so years ago due to variability of the crop, a problem no more. The perfumed fragrance is wonderful, at once light and intense. Citrus and apple blossom notes are quite special, and illuminate the very long palate and aftertaste. $40. 11.5% alc. Drink by 2039. Screwcap." - James Halliday, Halliday Top 100 Wines Of 2019.
Lucky my local had a couple! Thanks OP
It's a richer, more extraverted style (in comparison to Grosset for example). For the money I'd rather have Petaluma and Pikes, both are just as good. :)
I ordered the riesling last week. Point Cook store only had the 2012 museum release so they exchanged for that. Win-win!
