Decided I wasn't buying enough on eBay plus to justify the membership. Went to cancel and was offered $30 voucher. Might stick around for that.

Under 'My eBay Plus' go to 'edit membership' and cancel. Follow the prompts and you should get a $30 voucher.

Your mileage may vary but it seemed worth the post. Might not work on young accounts, I've been on it for almost a year.

edit: Some people are getting long commitment dates for the voucher. Mine was a month but young accounts can be asked to commit for up to six months. This is better for older accounts with some tenure.

    Still on the fence, just looked at items I purchased past 6 months and I don't think many were eBay plus. Plus they've torn me a new one with sellers fees over the past six months so maybe not :P

    You'd think if they were trying to retain members, they'd try and sell us on the benefits! Who do they think we are? A bunch of coupon grabbing, cash backing, catch SIMing forum posters?!

      Hope so. My account was billed for membership renewal today and haven't seen the voucher. Didn't recall that it will be delivered 3 days later when I cancelled so will wait and see.

          Got an email today with the voucher. However, I can't find any thing in my EBAY account messages regarding it no matter how hard I look. Haven't tried to use the voucher I received in my email to validate the code to make sure that it works yet though.

          If you haven't received one, maybe the email went to spam? As a message below Ebay may not reissue if that is lost?

    I did this last year when the incentive to resub was a $20 voucher which had a 3 year expiry. The voucher info went into my eBay messages where I promptly forgot about it for a few months - even though I did screenshot the offer and the message stating thank you for choosing the offer your gift card expires on 30/07/2020. I can't recall getting the actual email but thought it's OK the message is in eBay messages. Eventually went to use it and the message was gone from eBay messages so I went back through my normal emails and couldn't find it - perhaps it went to spam?? Contacted eBay via online chat and explained and they said eBay messages drop off after a while and they wouldn't give me a new code. Just had to suck it up. Disappointed as the voucher would have been the only value I got from Plus over 2 years.

    TL;DR - keep a record of the voucher code!! eBay won't reissue it if you lose email or leave the message in eBay messages too long.

    I quite like the fact that this has had a double effect of helping people get a voucher and also reminding people that ebay plus kinda sucks and worth cancelling. I mean, that's how I found out about it. Definitely wasn't getting enough value from it. But hey, another year and I might get something from it. A lot of ozbargaining to do over the next year!

    Got this offer as well, I'm going to renew my membership end of August. Each to their own I guess, but I actually buy a lot of stuff on eBay plus and saved heaps of shipping fees from some retailers like Big W, Best & Less, Myer, Chemist Warehouse, Bing Lee etc. I've been an eBay plus member since it started, I did paid $29 for my first year so $19 is not too bad. Last year I got the $1 deal, I got offer for $50 voucher deal at the moment for my other account but unfortunately I don't use that other account much since most stuff I buy is eBay Plus stuff, I'm not eligible due to not enough purchase history (will use that other account for non-ebay plus free delivery stuff now so I could get the deal next year).
